Quite recently I have been working on my first texture pack. Being a noob and all I have of course ran into some difficulties. The biggest and most annoying of all these is the glass texture I created. I edited it in the terrain.png where I found the glass texture, however even though it is edited it still remains to be the default when placed, but in the inventory it shows the edited texture.
Any help is very much appreciated!

I tried your pack *I guessed it was the RPG pack since grass looked the same.* and the glass was only default when I had connected textures on.
Try turning off connected textures if you have it on if you have optifine.*And if MCPatcher has it try unpatching your jar then patching it without connected textures though I don't think MCPatcher has it.If you have mods installed delete the bin folder...play minecraft then exit out...then patch jar then install mods.*
If you have optifine and want the glass to be the same as the texturepack's edited glass try adding the ctm to your texturepack and making the glass look the same as it is in terrain.png.
*Also you know that white-thing in the terrain above the grey redstone?That's the side of a glass pane so edit that to match the glass texture.Though I don't think that has any effect on it being default or not.*
