Hello all! Today I will be interviewing IrishChaos! He's a very talented skinner, so make sure to check out his page after the interview!
1. What inspired you to make your name "IrishChaos?"
To be honest, I'm not quite sure. The Irish part is quite rhetorical since I am Irish anyway, the Chaos bit is just there because I thought Irish on its own sounded too "bland" for a name, I guess the Chaos is just there because it sounded kinda cool.
2. Do you have a favorite type of band or music that you like to listen to?
This.
Oh, an actual answer? Okay;
It honestly depends, my taste in music varies from anything from Ed Sheeran to ACDC to some random Dubstep song I picked up, I could go on and on but I'll just say what I don't like, which is Heavy Metal and anything AutoTuned.
3. Why did you start making skins for both yourself, and other people?
I always liked the thought of skinning/pixel art before I even made my PMC account, I used to make a lot of simple and horrible skins for me and a few of my friends, then I found PMC and uploaded a skin. Which was the only skin I made for a few months because that skin was horrendous and I probably blinded some people with it (Its still up, if you want a laugh) so that was the end of my skinning career. A while later I tried again for the first season of PBL and failed at that to (I failed a lot) and so forth.
After a while I started getting serious. so I sat down, read Draziles tutorial and made three skins, which weren't half bad. I then went and made three more, trying my hand at my own style, these three skins are basically why I actually got serious into skinning, as they all got pop reel and good views.
The rest is history (or whatever cheesy thing I should put here)
4. How often do you upload skins?
I don't really have a timescale, sometimes I just decide Im gonna try and be a good skinner and upload regularily but that plan usually goes out the window after a skin because I can never get good ideas.
5. Who has been your biggest inspiration so far?
Drazile and Knobleknives, I guess. I can't really think of any but those two are some I tried to learn colours and shading from when starting out.
6. What are your two favorite colors to skin with?
Tan and a nice grey blue for some stupid reason, even though those two colours don't mix.
7. What is your favorite thing about Minecraft itself?
To be honest, servers. I love PVP, minigames, building, surviving with my friends (and complete strangers) and just messing around with redstone, I can't really pin down what I love about the game the most so just take that as an answer.
8. If you think you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

9. What do you think is your favorite/most sucessful skin?
My most successful is my entry to the Childhood Heroes contest (3rd, woo :D) and my favourite would have to be my SWAT skin, as it's my most well shaded and well coloured skin in my opinion.
10. What is your favorite texture pack that you've made?
Soulbound, my newest one. It is the only pack that I am 100% happy with the blocks and colours and the only pack I have actually finished the blocks for, so theres that. Plus it has allowed me to get better at pixel art and use that to make the pack.
11. What is your favorite video game character?
Handsome Jack, from Borderlands 2/ Pre Sequel. He is probably one of the very few video game "villains" I actually like, he's pretty witty and sarcastic so he's not just some dull "Shoot this guy, he's evil and wants to kill you, K" villain like we usually see on a lot of games.
12. What do you think all your texture packs have in common?
They all suck :3
Orr, they all have either Retro, RPG or Fantasy thrown in there at one stage and take a lot of inspiration from Nintendo game pixel art.
13. Do you specialize in any sport?
What is sport?
Im joking, I'm not that bad. I specialize in swimming and I currently am doing my life saving courses.
14. What is your favorite thing to do on weekends?
Sleep, eat, game with my idiots, watch Netflix, skin, do pixel art, sleep.
15. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
America, for many, many reasons. To be exact, New York. I have been there once and I absolutely love the atmosphere, weather and many other things about it
