Gems & ingots are very useful.
Mosts iron, gold, diamond.
But less useful are lapis lazuli & redstone.
Not to say they're rubbish but they're not so useful.
1.Cant craft tools & armour. 2.Only dye & wire.
3. Less common. 4.Un-useable mostly.
