Glitch Piston!!!!

I was making another secret redstone contraption, when suddenly, just like my other perfectly wired redstone powered staircase that totally glitched when I turned the power off, the piston was still on. But this was different. There was a piston with current off flickering like mad. This actually happened before when I was making my parkour. It happens when you have a current diagonal to a piston, which shouldn't power it... but it does... kinda. It flickers so fast that the other current it was supposed to cover(Yes, that's how I make loops and changing On/off. Pistons) didn't even flicker because it was too fast. In a desperate attempt to control the mayhem, I destroyed the piston... or at least I thought I did. But behold, the amazing, one of the two and only in my world, the HALF-PISTON!!!

P.S The other one was when a piston, a lever, and a primed TNT were put next to each other. Result? Lever was still there and on, back of piston blew up, and the piston arm stayed extended, powered by the invisible non-existant piston. It disappeared when I turned the lever off, because it retracted into the non-existing piston. Nothing more happened when I switched the lever again.
