They suck, a lot. Why?
I have no idea, first off gold is harder to find then diamonds, no joke.
Times I mined diamonds: 264
Times I mined gold: 108
Seriously, gold armor and items are worse than wooden items.
To do even more research, I took a test:
It takes exactly 34 blocks to brake a golden pickaxe.
It takes exactly 60 blocks to brake a wooden pickaxe. Almost twice as much as a golden pickaxes.
So the verdict is in, gold ingots suck ass. Also since it's rare to find, it sucks.
If you see gold ore, pass it up immediately.
