MCN Veteren here. My task force along with a joint squad from our alliance met in the northern fields of the server. We were to move to engage the Rubicon army massed at their citadel (They had ~40-50 people online and in their base). In order to escape detection and retain the element of surprise, we navigated through the snowy mountains along the edge of the server, somehow avoiding detection with our loosely organized mob of 20 or so soldiers. When we finally made it to the Rubicon base, we managed to sneak into their trench network undetected... or so we thought. Turns out, about 15 or so of them had spotted us, and waited for us to move into the trenches. It was a trap. 10 men gone in a second, and we lost 5 more to fighting off the men who ambushed us. Finally, we decided to use what TNT that hadn't been lost from getting attacked (they killed 3 of our tnt carriers) and breached the gates. As we pushed into their base we realized that they were managing to hold us off by retreating to their citadel. Just when we were about to give up, our Enemy-of-my-enemy-friends join the fight, bringing their entire army at just the right moment to breach the citadel defenses and finally capture their base. The day was ours for the taking.
