Lets face it: Some games last longer than others. But eventually, they all have to come to end. When will the updates stop? When will Minecraft become "Not Popular"? Why am I asking you these questions?

How YouTube will Help

Lots of people on YouTube play Minecraft, including me. This should no doubt increase the longevity of Minecraft for at least a couple years. Some of the biggest YouTubers play it, like SkyDoesMinecraft, and MinecraftUniverse or whatever... You get the point. It makes the game more public.

How the Community will Help

Now obviously, Planet Minecraft will most likely be a not-so-popular-website once Minecraft reaches its limit. :( Some will just get tired and quit and others just don't bother. BUT OF COURSE there will always be a friendly community somewhere that will last a while... and that place is here! Also, the Minecraft community makes mods, which help make the game more interesting as well as servers. Because of all these plugins and mods, its like a 100 in 1 package deal! Probably more though.

When the End Comes

That will be a sad day, but I can guarantee you that this game and website will be lasting for a long time. The updates might stop but the game will keep being played. It's just so unique that it's GOT to last a while. But for other games like First Person Shooters, they are pretty common, and if it's not some sort of SUPER AWESOME GRAPHICS AND DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT game, it ain't going long.
