So your probably here to learn how to administrate a server. Well lets learn!

Lets just assume you have just started a server or helping administrate your friend with theirs with 0 plugins or anything customized yet. These "plugins" can add uniqueness to your server, typically a server with 0 plugins gets boring quickly. The highly recommended source for these plugins is here:http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/

Now to get these plugins, click on the one you want, click the download button, and download it. To add them just simple drop the jar file into the plugins folder of your server. Then reload or restart/open the server and there you go!

Here are some recommended plugins:
Those are just some recommended plugins you can add to your server. There are plenty more!

One important thing to remember about your plugins! Always update, update, update. If you don't update then the plugin may not function. This is the same for CraftBukkit although you don't need to stress that much over updating that.

Now if you don't have any permissions set up yet, be sure to do so. Without permissions, your players cannot do any commands. If you don't know how to set them up, don't worry. There are plenty of tutorials out there. If you haven't heard of it, there's this popular place called YouTube,http://www.youtube.com/I suggest you check it out.

Now we move more in-game, lets talk about the special BAN HAMMER.
The Ban Hammer is a very powerful tool and should be used very rarely.
Commands For Banning:
/ban
/banlist
/tempban
Thats it actually :D

Just remember: Its a VERY powerful tool and should be treated like such.

Well that's it for this blog!

Your plugin recommendations can screw someones server up if you place them all together. Craftbook doesn't work well with Essentials and WorldEdit and WorldGuard don't work well with Craftbook.

I wouldn't remove it I would just put a note saying that it doesn't work with Essentials and those other plugins
