Today I will teach you how to combo easy in 1.9 pvp.
What's a combo?
Combo is when you destroy your opponent by continuously hitting without them hitting you for a long time and to make them question reality.
Learning pvp
In Minecraft 1.9 pvp, there is a cooldown between two hits. To understand this go into a world and get a diamond sword and a axe. Swing the sword in the air and then the axe. Do you see a Difference? The Axe after being swung takes longer to come back to its original position than the sword. This is called the combat cooldown. The only time you should hit someone is only when your Axe or sword is closest to you/ at the original position. The Axe does more damage than the sword in one hit hence it has more combat cooldown. So, whenever you are fighting someone, don't just spam click, Only Hit after the combat cooldown to deal the maximum damage (normally). But wait, there is more to it. To get the Maximum damage from any sword, axe or any fighting tool, you must do a crit or perform critical damage. To understand this, take a sheep spawn egg and spawn one sheep. First hit is normally with your diamond sword, It will not die then spawn another sheep but this time jump and hit the sheep, If you have done it correctly you will see some particles and the sheep will die in one hit. This is a crit. You must do this to do maximum damage, this also doesn't affect your combat cooldown, so its the best way to fight someone. Now spawn a lot of sheep and perform crits on them, do this continuously till you master doing a crit without any problem.

Learned the basics of Pvp? Cool now lets destroy some people. In order to win a fight you must kill your opponent before you (rieal). doing a combo increases your chances of winning a fight. There are several ways to combo. I will teach you the most basic and best ones
A) W TAPPING
Get a friend or if you don't have one (most probably) go on a 1,9 pvp server (Just search on google, there are way too many).
Now, lets teach you W tapping. To W tap,
1. Hit your opponent with a crit while jumping and pressing w
2. Hitting them will throw them back.
3. Once they get thrown back, Stop.
4. They will hit you but since you stopped you will not be there in their reach.
5. Now remember combat cooldown.
6. Once they swing their sword, they cant hit you back for some seconds.
7. So, as soon as they swing sword press w and space again to crit them again which will throw them back.
8. Come to a stop
9. In an attempt to hit you, they will swing their sword again but will not be able to hit you since you are again out of their reach.
10. After they swing their sword immediately press w and space to crit them again and repeat till your opponent dies and says bad words to you.
This method will take time to master but once you get the hang of it, you will become a pro
B) RIGHT OR LEFT STRAFING.
This method is the most useful when you have the swiftness effect. Again get a human test subject a.k.a a opponent. And follow the following steps:
0. press f3+b, to show hitboxes. This is optional but will help you a lot.
1. Get a hit on them.
2. Keep moving diagonally right or left. (you can practice this by placing two building blocks Infront of you and moving in such a way you are able to see the outline of the blocks from the farthest point possible and by creating a imaginary circle around the blocks by just moving in one direction)
3. Once you hit them, Start moving in a imaginary circle by strafing Right or Left whilst also keep them in your reach. Doing this limits their movement.
4. If done correctly they will be unable to hit you since you left the position from which you hit them.
5. then while they are suffering from the combat cooldown hit them again and immediately start strafing.
6. Keep doing this and you will be a impossible target to hit.
This is quite easy to master, but is not as effective as w tapping unless you are having the speed effect.
