Hey there! This is my first blog, so I'm kinda nervous.

Before you buy your server, you need to do three things:
1) Think about the ranking system of your server and how much each rank costs.
2) Make sure your server has a USP (Unique Selling Point [Something that makes your server special/unique])
3) Make your server's spawn and buildings beforehand. This means that you can import the world onto your server quickly, so you will get quality players on quickly.

After you have bought your server, imported the world and set up the ranks, you should make a server website (Enjin is quite good for that) and then advertise your server in PMC chat and on the forums. After that, create a new PMC thread to recruit staff members for your server. WARNING: Do not OP your staff or give them all of the staff commands when they log on, otherwise you're at risk of losing potential players as they will abuse their power (it is extra safe to search up their IGN on Google to see if they have got a bad reputation).

Now, sign up your server to voting sites so that your players can vote and gain rewards (this can be done via the Votifier plugin). This will make your server more popular since the more votes you have, the likelier it is that people see your server. Also you will need a professional photo editing programme to make a banner for your server (or you can just request one). Thie picture above is a good example of what it should look like (you will need to add your server name and IP on top, this picture is just an example of what the background could be).

Soon enough, your server will be running smoothly with donations coming in from every angle!

NOTE: You WILL need extra plugins to make your server popular. Do not blame me if you don't get tonnes of money quickly from donations. Great servers take time and care to thrive.
