Step one: Go to Planet Minecraft or Curseforge

Step two: once your at the Planet Minecraft and or Curseforge website you will need to navigate to the maps or worlds tab

Step three: If you find a Map/World that you want to download make sure that you click on the download button. It is important to note that when you are on PlanetMinecraft the download button will be blue and when you are using CurseForge the download button will be a greyish color. It is also important to realize that the locations of the download buttons are also different. In PlanetMinecraft you will find the download button right underneath the picture or video of the minecraft map, but in CurseForge you can find the download button in the top righthand corner of the page or by going to the files tab.

Step four:Once your Minecraft World is downloaded make sure you go to your File Explorer by clicking your start button on your windows computer. The start button should look like a blue square with vertical and horizantal lines drawn across it to form the shape of a window.

Step five: Once you have opened your File Explorer make sure that you go to your .minecraft folder. Personally, I found this folder by opening up minecraft and clicking on the mods button, once you do this you should see a button that says open mods folder at the bottom left hand corner. If you click on this button it will open up your mods folder on your File Explorer and from here you can easily pin your mods folder to quick acess as you can find your .minecraft folder by clicking on this folder. Another way that you can find the .minecraft folder is by starting a game in minecraft, once the game loads make sure to hit the esc. button and it will bring up the menu, from here click on the button that says options and then click on resource packs. Once you click on resource packs, you should see a button that says open resource packs folder, once you click on that button the folder should appear in your File Explorer and you can pin your resource packs folder to quick start. This is useful because you can also find the .minecraft folder by opening up your resource packs folder. Once you have your .minecraft folder it is important that you click on it and scroll down until you see a folder called saves. Once you have found your saves folder you should pin it to quick acess so you can easily find it in quick access.

Step six: Now once you have your saves folder pinned to quick access go to your downloads and look for the folder you just downloaded. The next thing you are going to do is click on this folder and then click extract all. Now this step may take a few min so just take a deep breath and wait till the extraction process says its fully complete before you do anything else. Once the extraction process says that it is fully completed you will need to drag the extracted folder into the saves folder and you should have your minecraft world.

note: If you don't see the world you just downloaded in Minecraft and you have followed all of the steps above, what you need to do is click on the original folder that you downloaded and once you click on it your extracted folder should appear. Once you find this extracted folder make sure to drag it into your saves folder and it should work. If you have any questions about how to do this feel free to comment below or message me!
