Freezing a player is a system used for punishment. It basically stops the player from moving.
To freeze a player, use:
/freeze playername
To unfreeze them, use:
/unfreeze playername
For freezing a player to be effective, make sure they are out of the way, to make sure they can't do damage to property whilst frozen, if they are in a bad place, teleport them somewhere and then freeze them.
This is very handy for preventing griefers, or, just trolling your friends.
