How to Get Accepted for Staff

Do not beg.
This is one of the most important parts of obtaining a staff position, and it's do not beg. When you beg, your basically saying "PLZZ!! GIMME STAFF!!!!11!!", which is highly immature and unprofessional. It usually means that you don't have patience and don't understand what being a part of staff truly means. In fact, don't even mention it at all. The people who get staff are the people who wait for it.
Be unique.
Don't just be another random player that comes on every few days. Whenever a you submit an application for staff, make it special. Anyone can say that they know how to ban rule-breakers and promise to help the server. Tons of applications are exactly like that, don't be one of them! Make yourself stick out in a positive way, be the guy who doesn't put up with "average".
Be helpful.
The reason why admins are recruiting staff is because they need help running the server. If you want to have staff, act like staff. On my server, when I ask people who just applied for Mod that barely ever help, they always reply, "I'm not moderator YET, and I don't have the commands to help anyone." That's wrong, because there's plenty of ways to contribute to the server. Always help newcomers, or answer any questions people have. If anyone's breaking rules, try to stop it or report it to the staff. Although, don't constantly bomb staff with questions like "Is there anything I can help with?". The staff appreciates your desire to help, but it can get a little annoying at times.
Make yourself look professional.
You can achieve this in many ways, the first example is grammar and spelling. Would you rather accept a guy that says, "1 4m v3ry gud @t being a m0d. plz acept my app." or "I am wishing to apply for the positon of Moderator. May you please accept me?" Also, be specific. Don't just say "i can help this server is many ways", say something like, "I am available to help any problems or bugs for your plugins, I know how to set up Permissions and Essentials." The last one is to not act "pushy" or act hyperactive. If you constantly say things such as "ACCEPT ME", your not going to get picked. Also, if you spam exclamation marks or faces, you application will end up like this, "please accept me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D".
