How to get Custom Potions in 3 easy steps


To get any custom potions, you need to run this command. Copy and paste this for an easier and more accurate outcome.

/give @p minecraft:potion{Potion:"minecraft:water",CustomPotionEffects:[{Id:#,Duration:0}],display:{Name:"\"Custom Potion\""}}

1. Change the ID number to what potion ID you want. A list of potion IDs (1.12.2) is listed in this given link

2. Change the Duration to however many seconds you want the effect to last. (Duration 20 = 1 second)

3. Change Custom Potion to whatever you want the potion name to be, but DO NOT remove the "\"...\""

Run the command, and you should get a custom potion!
