Things You Should Post...

Texture packs: People will like them more if they are unique and good looking. Try make up a catchy name too.

Mods: Don't make a mod that allows you to make diamond out of dirt. Do make one that adds a certain ability to the game that doesn't change it to much but makes it more fun.

Blogs: These are challenging but rewarding. If you make a good blog then you will get alot of exp. Just look at this one you reading! ;)

Projects: Make these useful and fun. Make a parkour map or a adventure map or even a building. People love these things and if they are good. They will get lots of downloads.

Skins: These are very tricky. I don't reccommend these to people who aren't good skinners. Only do these if you are very skilled. If you are skilled, they will pay off.

Now for some very helpful tips!:



Use Skype!

I talk to some of my friends on Skype. If you ever feel the need to. Just ask me. Making friends and then talking on skype is a great way to get know each other. You can get reccomended. Remind them of new content etc. I even had a story contest with one of my subscribers :)

Don't Make Fun of Someones Work!

If you don't like someone's work then don't comment on it or if you do make it constructive critism or give them helpful advice. No one likes someone who makes them feel bad because they are not as good as you. It really hurts some people because they try so hard. So i know this has been said alot of times but, Think before you act!

Make FRIENDS on PMC

If you want people to subscribe to you. They need to know you are a trustworthy friend and user. If you talk to them alot and look at their stuff often, they will most likely do the same for you. This means subscribing!

Don't be a Bully!

Alot of people I've seen on the forums try to boast about their stuff or put other people down. Having been bullied myself I know how it feels. People who are new and post a skin that you dont think is good aren't asking for your opinion that will hurt them. If you don't think its good than don't even post or say anything. If you are a bully people are going to know you and for bad reasons. Your subscribers will probably un-subscribe. Don't hurt others because you don't like them. Cheer them on and tell them to keep trying



Ask people to follow you on Twitter/Facebook

You will get more people to know you this way. If you are active on these sites people will follow your posts and remember to remind people about your stuff here on PMC reguarly.

Be Active on the forums!

No one is gonna know you exist if you don't post on the forums. The forums are a great place to get to know people and have them look at you stuff. If you make friends of the forums there is a good chance you will earn more subscribers.

Subscribe to other People!

If you subscribe to people that dont have many subscribers they are gonna be like. Oh wow a new subscriber i better go check out there stuff. Trust me its an instant reaction to most people, unless they have got heaps of subscribers they cant keep count.

Post GOOD stuff!

I can not emphasize this enough. If you want subscribers you need to post good things.Dont post things like a texture pack that looks like you took 3 minutes making it. If your posting a project you want to make it unique and interesting. Most people like big buildings of famous places. But my personal favourites are redstone creations that do interesting things. Blogs need to be helpful or funny. Everyone likes a help or funny blog to help them or entertain them. Mods need to be original and awesome. Not a mod allowing you to craft diamonds from dirt. That ruins minecraft.

Talk to People in the Chat Lounge!

So last night, I was in the members chat lounge, I made alot of new friends. They both subscribed to me and viewed my things. What I am trying to say is to talk to people you don't know very well or maybe at all! By taking this risk you will most likely be rewarded. Just don't spam your links over and over. It annoys people alot. So just don't do it.

Use Youtube!

Some people like to advertise their stuff on Youtube. Or get someone to show it off for them. This is important if you want world wide viewers and subscribers. Remember Youtube is your friend!

Comment on other peoples stuff!

If you comment on peoples stuff and tell them how good it is or give them advice they are going to thanks you and then you start talking more often, you will give each other advice and if you like talking to each other you'll become friends. Ask them to reccommend you to their friends. That way you can make more and more friends, leaving you with alot of subscribers!

If all else fails!

If none of my tips have helped you, use the old subscribe for a subscribe trick. Ask someone to subscribe to you and in return you will subscribe back. This works on new people looking for people to view and give constructive critisizm about their stuff. But only use this trick if all else fails.
