Server PopularityGetting your server popular requires lots of steps but i will show you a few that you can easily do to maximize your efforts to get people onto your server!

The Steps:
1) Server quality - Now this subject covers a lot of topics but this is a main point when it comes to getting people. The main thing is your spawn because when people join your server they will either stay or leave immediately depending on how your spawn looks. There are key points you want to include in the spawn such as rules that people can see and understand and also make the spawn big and add lots of details! Which brings me to my next point and thats attention to details. This means instead of creating a cheap little arena in 30 minutes maybe you find someone good and make it a week job that turns out to be really nice. Because there are thousands and thousands of minecraft servers today its harder and harder for people to get people to join their server so attention to detail is a main thing, make everything look as nice as you can!

2) Advertising - Advertising is one of the main factors that can get people onto a server, now im not just saying go to others and spam them because you will get banned, but there are tons of other ways to get people on. Starting off is this website right here PlanetMinecraft which is one of the best tools out there. You want to add your server to the list add the key parts are a great title and an amazing description and let people know everything that you have on your server. You can even go to other bigger servers descriptions and take theirs and just replace their info with yours! A big part of advertising is how good your server appears to look. So make sure you have a good banner, title, and description. After all that then go post on as many server websites as you can, because the more the better! You can also pay for bigger advertisiment but that can range around 200$ so its not the cheapest!
