Hey guys,
This is how to install maps to your Minecraft.
1. DOWNLOAD YOUR MAP. Download the map you were hoping to play, remember, if the file looks weird, delete it straight away (and remember to delete it from your bin as well).
2. GET TO YOUR "SAVES" FOLDER. Here is how to get to the place all of your worlds or "saves" are stored. 1) Windows 7: Click "Start". Type in search "%appdata% then go to the folder called roaming. Click .Minecraft then scroll down until you find "saves", this is were all of your worlds are.
3. COPY-PASTE YOUR MAP. copy and paste your map into your "saves" folder. Then run Minecraft, go in to "single-player" then your map will "magically" appear in that list.
Thanks for reading this, I hope it helps you on your adventures.
Cheers,
Max
P.S: I do NOT (and never will do) do this for the EXP. So please do not say this.
P.S.S: You can check out the video on how to do this (Windows 8+ ONLY) HERE.
