Hey guys, here with another tutorial, and I think this one is my best yet! Hope you like it!
PS. Sorry about the small pictures. I was having trouble getting them on here :(
HOW TO MAKE A FLOATING ISLAND WITH WORLDEDIT
1.Put a block in the middle of no-where. (You can use /platform)
2. Make a big area of wool. IT MUST BE AT LEAST 5 LAYERS THICK! The length and width of the area depends on how big you want your island.
3.Get a tool, type /brush sphere sand 3 and make a mountain.
4. Get another tool and type /brush smooth 3, and smooth out the mountain. Make sure you don't smooth it too much!
5. Now select the area of the mountain. But make sure you do NOT select any of the wool. Then type //replace sand,wool dirt Now it should look like the picture.
6. Now get another tool and type /tree big. Click over the mountain where you want your trees.
7. Now the fun starts :D. You still should have the area of the mountain selected, if not, select it again. Now type //replace wood,leaf sand (It should now look roughly like the picture.)
8. Now type //replace sand,dirt stone
9. Type //copy
10. Type //flip up
11. Fly away from the mountain you copied and do //paste
12. Get another tool, type /brush sphere stone 3, and make a small hill in the middle of the island. Then get another tool and type /brush smooth 3. Smooth out the little hill you just made and the edges of the island. Only smooth the edges SLIGHTLY! It should look roughly like the picture now.
13. Select the WHOLE island, and type //naturalize
14. You can either stop here or decorate your island with trees, pools and other crap.
You are done! Enjoy your floating island! :D
