Hi guys.. First I would like to say I'm sorry if I'm confusing I try my best at explaining stuff. Now let the tutorial begin! So first dig a hole and place a armour stand in it. Now make a pillar of any block that goes beside the armour stand. The pillar should be 4 blocks tall. Now place a stair of any kind (I prefer quartz.) right above the armour stand. Put the stair in the direction you want the stair case to in. Now put a normal piston facing down on the stair. Break the block next to the piston and put a redstone block or torch and walla! You now have a cool looking stair! I really hope you enjoyed! Craft On.
