Ever wonder how to make a good build? Ever wanted to build something nice for a friend? Here are some tips for doing so.

When building medieval, don't use all cobblestone castles. Add stone bricks and other blocks, like stairs, to make it unique. I've seen full cobblestone castles, and they do not look good compared to the ones with mixed blocks.
When building houses, use wool and wood. The wool/wood combo resembles masonry. Making ships can be easy if you know how to do so. Use oak wood and oak wood planks or spruce wood/planks. For streets, use cobblestone on the middle and stone brick on the side. Since the very middle of the street is used more, the center is cobble.

When building more modern, don't use wood often except mabye for spires or shrines. The new quartz blocks can look very good in skyscrapers, and I suggest using those blocks. If your cities have 1940's style buildings, make the skyscrapers look similar to a very large house, except add more floors. If you want to make the streets realistic, use black wool. Don't build dotted lines with gold or yellow wool, because the road lines will look too big for the rest of the road. Glowstone and fences can make good streetlamps.

I hope this helps you guys, because that's what tips I use to make very good buildings. Comment and diamond below!
