Have you ever wanted a great minecraft server that makes your server successful well now you can with this guide I will be teaching you my tips on how to make a minecraft server from plugins to configuration and more so lets get started shall we.[NOTE] This is my personal opinion on how to make a professional minecraft server i've had some experience so these are MY OPINIONS im not a professional but I know a bit so here we go.

What Is Necessary To Run Your Minecraft Server

1. Use Craftbukkit I cant say this enough you will not be successful unless you use it.

2. If you are running this server off your pc make sure to have at LEAST 6gb of ram dedicated to your server like on my pc I have 8gb of ram but if I were to start a server off of it I would use 6 to save ram on my pc for other things like searching the web and more if you can not do this than you should use a minecraft server host there are multiple but I will leave the ones that I recommend in the second part of this blog

3. Make sure you are using a Intel i7 3000 something at least. I recommend you make sure there is a K at the end of it and that means its good to overclock which is good so your processor can handle alot so you can run the server it would be better if you used a Intel Xeon i5 or i7 those processors can handle servers like its no tomorrow and most minecraft server hosts run off of those processors.

SECOND PART Minecraft Server Hosts

1. Minecraft server hosts ahhh this one is alot different than the previous section I explained so lets get into
it first off you will need to chose it here are some of them I recommend

CraftNode Hosting: http://www.craftnodehosting.com/ I think they are good and have no lag but can be a bit over pricey
just a little.

McProHosting: http://mcprohosting.com/ now alot of people go with this one now they go with it cause youtubers approve of it but thats because there sponsored by them and to get the servers they use it costs thousands of dollars a month but I think there a great minecraft server host and they can provide no lag servers they have good prices for there servers.

CraftYourBox: http://craftyourbox.com/ honstly I love these guys they give out very powerful servers that are cheap a 5gb of ram server costs $35.00 that price can normally get you 4gb of ram which is awesome
every bit of saved money counts.

Those are my top free hosts feel free to look at there websites for more info on there servers

THIRD PART Starting Up

1.Studying Is Key Study Other Servers That Are Successful And See What They Have And What They
Use And Use Some Of Those Ideas Dont Copy All Of Them.

2.Get a team together get a admin, plugin manager (Optional But Does Come In Handy), Moderator. Now make sure these people are active on the server and actually helping if there not you should replace them its best to pick people you know in real life but if you cant make sure they have skype so you guys can contact eachother.

3.Think about what type of server you want to make a mini games one, survival, faction, pvp you have to think about those things

4.Dont add to many plugins only add the ones you think will stand out and what you have studied dont add little features like chairs there just gonna add lag only do ones like survival games, essentials, worldguard, worldedit,Infected,Factions

I looked into your host it doesnt look like they provide unlimited bandwidth which is very important
but it is cheap :D but they need more extra features like able to choose if you want plugin support
