Introduction

I have seen alot of people starting of sig card making so i decided to make a nice tutorial for you. In this tutorial we will be covering lessons such as changing a picture color to making your own font.

Lesson #1

To start you need to have the proper software i use paint.net i have heard that gimp is also good. You need to start with the proper size usually its 400x100 you can use other sizes but i prefer this size.

Lesson #2

Second you need to have a base color of what you want it to look like say if you wanted it to be happy maybe choose yellow as your base if you want it to be mystic, purple would be a good choice.


Lesson #3

Now you will want to choose [if not already] what you would like to do on it. It will have to match your choice of mood so for this i chose an Enderman [may look more like a silver creeper] so draw a basic outline of it.


Lesson #4

Fill with one color. Add details to it so you can tell were they are before you start shading. In this i am going to add eyes.


Lesson #4

Add details to the background so that people can see how much effort you put in it. Remember detail is everything. This includes your font witch you will want all the letters to be the same size so draw a top line and a bottom line for the necessary height and draw lines for width. Also you will need the same amount of pixels between each letter.


Lesson #5

You will want to remove the lines between the letters. now its time to shade i used a difference of 10 each shade of color one this you can use any difference you want but make the farther away parts darker than the rest. Shade each part of the body differently so you can see the difference. Shade the details in the background including font.


Lesson #6

Now you will need to add affect to the background i am going to make it look like the Enderman is sinking into the background like it were a sponge. To do this i will need to start out light near the base of the Enderman and get darker i will do the same thing with the letters so there's a continued affect but i will not do this with the sparks coming off of the Enderman because they are floating not touching the ground. Also add you name out of any conflicting areas.
