This is how you make special characters on ANY version on windows (I dont have a mac so i dont know if it works on mac)
FIRST: you either go to the start button in the far bottom left corner of you screen or press the START button on the far left bottom of you keyboard and press it.
SECOND: in the search bar you type: Character Map and click on the icon that looks like a shape with heiroglyphs on it.
Third: there are lots of characters to choose from when you want one of them click it then click Select you can do that as many times as you want when you have as many characters you want click COPY then you can right click and press PASTE and it will paste those Characters!
