THE OVERWORLD

I don't know how I got here and I don't where I am, all I know is that I had to find something, anything...

I heard a sound from a distance, footsteps of some sort. I rushed to it; I even sprinted not caring if the source the sound was hostile or passive. I jumped over blocks that I could not walk on and I broke through leaves to find it. There was couple of them, odd creatures who were in the color of white and ate grass, leaving the dirt bare. 'What are you?,' I asked the one closest to me but it simply replied with an unintelligent Behehehehe sound. I didn't know what to make of them so I let them be; I left them and kept walking. Later I called those creatures sheep for reasons I cannot explain. I could say that it was the only thing that came to my mind when I thought of them, or perhaps that's what they were really called.

I was exploring now, continuing my pointless adventure to find why I am... Still in this forest I was lost, all trees looked alike, it felt like I was walking in circles finding similar or the same thing over and over again. I felt frustrated, even angry sometimes, to the point where even slightest annoyance could've snapped me. And something did...

More footsteps from a distance attracted my attention, I was sick of everything and I hoped that this sound from a distance would be what I was looking for...

My hopes were increasing, I was smiling as the sounds grew stronger. I heard a snort from there but I ignored it, letting nothing ruin my excitement. But what I saw shattered me and if things turned out different I would not be alive today... I regret nothing! But things could've turned out better if I knew then...

I saw it from a distance ignoring the pain in my belly blocking out anything but hope. 'HEY!,' I called to it but it remained looking opposite of me. 'HEY, YOU!,' I tried again but it simply walked towards the direction it was facing. I walked closer to it. 'I'M TALKING TO YOU!,' I continued, refusing to believe that this pink creature was no smarter than the Sheep I previously saw. So I went around confronting its face, 'YOU... YOU... PIG, I HATE YOU!' I shouted before striking it, causing it to shriek in pain and run. I pursued it for the kill; I followed it manically, trying to predict its movements for another strike. But it outran me or it had gone somewhere I could not see. But then it snorted again and I found it by a lake as calm as ever. The creature didn't even recognize me after my outburst, that was the last straw, this creature had to suffer and it had to die because I could not take it any more. I sprinted from where I was and jumped for my kill making the pig shriek even more, causing it explode into white particles leaving its flesh behind for me to keep (which I called pork chops due to its convenient shape).

The pain in my belly grew stronger, I was getting weaker by the second and I knew that this would be the end of me if nothing was done to subdue it. Looking around me, the pork chop came to my mind. It was raw but I didn't know how else to eat at that time so I ate it as it was, bit by bit and that did the trick but I knew my relief would be short lived since I'd have to eat more in time...

I wasn't quite calm but most of my frustration had gone; now I just wanted to stock myself with what I could. There were more than enough pigs in this forest and Sheep's proved to be useless as a source of food; instead they dropped a comfortable block called "wool" that might prove to be useful in the future. I encountered another creature of black and white larger than pigs and far more annoying because they kept Moooooing at each other whenever I was near. These creatures also dropped flesh when killed but it was denser and much more satisfying so I gave it a more powerful name, I called the flesh BEEF, and they dropped another item that might or might not be useful to me, it was a flat sheet of skin that tethered easily, so I called it leather. I might sound sick but every time I make a kill I feel stronger like something in me has been adding up with every passive creature I slaughter...

As the light grew dim and the source of it, the sun, fell down the sky. There was a moment when there was no passive creature or any creatures of any sort. There was an eerie silence as darkness enveloped the world, before I knew what it was it was already almost too dark to see. All I heard was the high pitched shrieking of a monster in the hunt...

It attacked me from above, the beast could jump farther than any creatures I had seen and this was my first foe. With nothing to attack it with, I used my fist and beat the creature to death before it could do the same to me, and in the end it cost me dearly. My life was lower than what it was and I did the one thing I could to escape all the creatures of the night around me. I dug a hole below me, low enough for my safety and covered the entrance with the dirt I had dug out. I was safe, but I was alone in darkness with no clue when to get out. The only thing I knew was that I could hear moaning from above me...
