You probably played adventure maps downloaded off of the Internet and it was presented in a different resource pack. Instead of including the resource pack seperately, you can put the resource-pack.zip folder in the folder the world is located, ie C:\Users\Test\World\resourcepack.zip, the resource pack will automatically be used when playing the world
