Thought superflat was only for building on creative? Think again. This tutorial will teach you how to survive in superflat, survival mode. Try it out with no generated structures and hard mode and become the real Minecraft pro. If you can't do this, try this or simply turn generated structure on. Hope you all will like my tutorial!

RULE 1: Try not to waste your hunger. It's very precious in superflat, due to the fact there are only a limited food available.

GOOD FOOD:
o Beef
o Raw Porkchop

HUNGER POISONING FOOD:
o Raw Chick
o Rotten Flesh
POISONING FOOD:
o Spider Eye

RULE 2:
The only weapons you have are eggs and your bare fists. To farm eggs, make a wide pit (but now to deep!) and collect some eggs in the wild. Then throw the eggs in the pit and hopefully at least one will be a chicken. Then you just wait until the chicken(s) hatch(es) an egg. Once it does, jump into the pit and collect it. To get out, just make a staircase and patch the staircase up so the chicken doesn't get out. After you have at least 16, you can then start throwing the eggs at those pesky monsters! Eggs are ranged weapons and will only knock back the enemy. Useful for slimes and creepers, who have useless drops.

RULE 3:
If you are lucky enough to kill an Enderman, you will get an Ender pearl. Use this as transportation by throwing the Ender pearl and you will teleport where it lands. You can also use this like a escape pod and escape tricky situations.

RULE 4:
This is a list of building materials you can build your house of:
o Dirt-an easy to get, but ugly materials for houses.
o Wool-a colorful way to build your house, that comes in 9 colors!
-White, light grey, grey, black, brown, pink, yellow, red, orange.
o Grass-good for decoration, planted by bone meal on dirt
o Flowers-wonderful for decoration and can be used as dye. Also planted by bone meal on dirt.

RULE 5:
Some enemies have useful drops. Others have useless drops. Here's a list a enemies to fight and to not:

TO FIGHT:
o Spiders, for their string (able to craft wool) and eyes (able to eat)
o Zombies, for rotten flesh (to eat)
o Skeletons, for bone meal (for planting) and arrows (if you have a bow)
o Enderman, for Ender Pearls (to teleport)

NO FIGHT:
o Slimes, what are you going to do with slimeballs? Throw it at people? O.o
o Creepers, what are you going to do with gunpowder? Make a gun? O.o
o Zombie Pigman (can spawn by a pig struck by lightning), what are you going to do with golden nuggets? Make a coin? O.o

RULE 6:
Other tips:
o Make your house pretty with multicolor dye and flowers!
o You can always just wait 'till daytime when the zombies and skeletons all set on fire.
o CHALLENGE: Try to make pixel art only using these 9 dyes.
o Make a pit around your house to secure it.
o Enderman can move dirt blocks. Try making your house out of wool, or an underground one.
o Sometimes an enemy can drop rare things. This is called a rare drop. There are a list of drops:
-Zombie Pigman
>Gold Ingot (useless)
>Gold Sword with possible enchantments up to level 5
>Gold Helmet
-Skeleton/Spider Jockey
>Bow with possible enchantments up to level 5
-Zombie
>Iron Ingot (can make shears)
>Iron Helmet
>Iron Shovel
>Iron Sword
