Hey Guys! Today I'm gonna show you how to take screenshots using Windows 7. It is very easy. Many of you way know how already, but thats alright. Theres alot of people who don't. I didnt know how to untill a couple of months ago.
But know I do! :D So lets get started!!
Step 1: Study your keyboard
You must find the "print screen" button on your keyboard. Many keyboards are different, so it could be abbreviated like: PrntScrn PntScn PrtScrn . It could even share a key with anotherword. For example, the print screen button on my keyboard is sharing a key with something that says "SysRq". But it wont matter if it says anything like that. Just ignore it. Most "Print Screen" buttons are near the top right-hand corner of your key board.
Step 2: Press "Print Screen" button
Now that you have found your print screen button you can take a screen shot. Press the button. lol. :)
Step 3 (optional): Hold alt while you press.
Holding the alt button will make only your browser appear on the screen shot. This prevents your bar at the bottom of your screen from showing. You can see the bottom of mine. ( I cut off part of it though)
Step 4: Open paint
You probably think nothing happened so far. But thats because the screenshot didnt save yet. The screenshot is on you copy & paste clipboard. So, to save the screen shot, open microsoft paint. In the top left-hand corner of your screen, there is a button that says paste. So, click paste.
Step 5: Save it!
Now all you have to do is save the file where you want!TADA! You now know how to take screenshots using Windows 7! :D You're so smart(:
Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy your new skill (; hahaha :D -xih3artclothezx
