Hey guys here's a tutorial on how to install Minecraft Forge and put mods on it

First an introduction to Minecraft Forge. Minecraft Forge is a tool that a lot of mods require. It bassicly forges the original minecraft. The forged minecraft allows you to put mods on it. Not all mods need minecraft forge so heres a tutorial.

1. Download Minecraft Forge http://files.minecraftforge.net/ whatever version your using download the installer not universal not SRC and not changelog. Download installer not anything else. Save it wherever you want.



2. Go to wherever you saved it and it should be a .jar file double click it. When it comes up it should come up with the installer click download client then ok/install.

3. When its finished go to Run and type %appdata% then enter. Go to .minecraft then mods folder. That mods folder you put your mods in that you downloaded that require minecraft forge. Put the full .rar or .zip in the mods folder you do not extract it.

4. Go to your minecraft launcher when its open go to profiles then there should be a profile called forge select that then log in, then play.
