Scripts, we see them almost everyday. Whether it is watching a Youtube video, watching the TV, playing a game or seeing an advertisment. Well, we don't litterally see them but we watch or hear these scripts. Now I have noticed a lot of people on the forums have been wanting to make a Youtube series or a Minecraft movie. If you look seriously at half the movies you have with your dvd player I am sure they will have good acting and that; it may be the actor/ess playing a really good part, but, what if the movie wasn't so great? Was it the script? Was it the actor/ess? That is up to you, today your going to read my 10th blog, this is going to tell you how to make a script; not just any old script, but a script that you would see as a real actor like Hugh Jackman, Lucy Lu, Jim Parsons or any of your favourite actors.



So, let us get this on a role. Here is how some of you script writers write your scripts:



(Opening a door and out comes a light)

Bill: OH, look the light! (Arms go over his eyes)

(Bill Screams)

Jean: Gosh, the light! We have to turn this light off.

(They both move towards the light and hit a switch and it turns the light off)



So, that was just an example, here is another, just how a bigger majority of you write scripts:



Bill opens a door and out comes a light

Bill: Oh, look the light!

Bill covers his eyes with his arms

Bill screams

Jean: Gosh, the light! We have to turn this light off.

They both move towards the light and hit a switch and it turns the light off



Now, those are the ways most kids in school will write them; the thing is though. If you want to make a successful script which wins awards, can get published (in a movie in case you derp) and all that those will do, but won't be any match to a script which is easy to understand for all including those who have never read a script before, so here it is:



Scene opens with a room, it has a door and is very dark, not much more than a table can be scene, in this room is a man named Bill and a woman named Jean, this is where they have been taken to for capture

Bill notices the door, walking up to it he decides to open it. Out of the door comes a massively bright light

Bill: Oh, the light! (Bill covers his eyes with his arms very quickly, he then screams)

Jean: Gosh, this light! We have to turn this light off.

They both move foward towards the light placing their hands on the wall until Bill finds a switch turning the light off, then the scene ends





So, that is basically how to properly write a script as, during recording and that the script writer isn't their to share his ideas on the script. When designing the script writer knows what everything looks like so he has to make those decisions so if it is just confusion your colleagues won't be able to even come to you asking about what you wanted for that. The script is the most important part of the show/movie; without a script your favourite shows (besides reality tv) wouldn't exist. So if you found this useful please diamond!
