Before you start hating me for how toxic the PVP community is and how it should be neglected, Please read the entire post. Think with an open mind, and give some constructive feedback that could help me promote this.
I am a pvper and I both complete sanctify the beautiful updates and the bug fixes in the newer versions and feel frustration at the bad bugs and glitches, as well as the terrible hacks, in 1.7 and 1.8 PVP. I think that the PVP community needs to get recognised as one of Mojang's responsibilities and it needs to be given a few favours.
In No Way Whatsoever, am I asking you to compromise the builders and the people who work on single player but I am asking you to try and add a few things that may make Minecraft PVP a lot easier. I understand that Minecraft wasn't meant for PVP but the fact that it was possible means that whatever is created through it is still Mojang's responsibility.
I think that adding an Official Minecraft PVP Client that has the old PVP system but doesn't have all the bugs is a possible option that will make life easier for a ton of users. It should also be a sort of Client side Anti-cheat as doing all the hacker-catching work is hard to do from the server's perspective, as explained in many videos from both 2PI, Tenebrous and a few other youtubers. The video gives a lot more detail in how they could fix hacked clients in a different way, talking about 2 factor authentication and a few other things. Please watch it before giving a review to help you understand a bit more.
I also think that we should try and support the Minecraft PVP community because, as hard as it is to say it, it is EXTREMELY toxic. Why? The main reason is hackers but another reason is the fact that Mojang completely neglects it and that they don't shed much light on them. By both eliminating the hacker problem and supporting them, they may become less of a hateful community and become what they used to be when 1.7 was released, a shine in the darkness.
