Hello, FireLily302 here. In the Gaming world, girls are not thought of as gamers. Everyone thinks that if we are gamers we are fat or stupid, or kinda lame. BUT THAT IS NOT ALWAYS TRUE.
Here we interview Creative_Anne and myself, to see what it's like being a girl in Minecraft.
What is it like being a girl gamer?
FireLily302- I enjoy being a gamer, but I also have a social life that is not on the internet. It's fun to meet new people from around the world, but we have to watch out for scary people.
Creative_Anne- Idk, i play games and feel really nerdy about it.
Do you tell other people about you being a gamer?
FireLily302- Actually I don't, only my really good friends. i don'y know why, just like to keep gamer life and social life seperate.
Creative_Anne- Yes, yes i do, And I own it.
What are your favorite things to do in Minecraft SinglePlayer?
FireLily302- I like to build custom rps or villages fomr certain time periods or places. Mostly creative, though.
Creative_Anne- I absoloutely love redstone, but sometimes I do world edit or other fun things.
Why your username?
FireLily302- Idk. It sounded cool, because I love flower and fire.
Creative_Anne- I had this blog on a website, and when I bought mc it just sounded cool. So now Creative_Anne is my username for almost everything.
Fav. Block?
FireLily302- Definately the moving fire block, id 52 because it is beautiful.
Creative_Anne- A command block. You can do so much with them, and I really love technical minecraft and it just seems awesome.
What operating system do you use?
FireLily302- Mac. its ok, but mac.
Creative_Anne- Mac. love the mac.
How long have you played mc?
FireLily302- About since around June 2011. Maybe later. I can't remember.
Creative_Anne- I think about... ive had the game since november 2012 so around a year and a half.

being a girl doesn't make you special by yourself. Your no better then us, we're all equal. It's like gamer girls aways complain that they are looked down upon. The only hate girls have gotten all together are from little kids or sexist people. Won't you just drop it already? Your on the Internet. Everybody gets hated on the Internet.
Actually a lot of gamers are fat, stupid or kinda lame. The fat ones - the ones who sit inside staring at a computer screen with an enormous bag of chips - they actually exist. The stupid ones - the six year olds who think they're so cool because they play Minecraft, Call of Duty, Terraria and Roblox, and they cuss - they actually exist, too. The kinda lame ones - well, if you mean mentally lame or physically disabled, I don't know, but still, there are gamers with disabilities.
I'm not saying ALL gamers are that, but there is certainly a majority. And not EVERYONE thinks that gamers have to be fat, stupid or lame.
