Days have past since I first started in my world, and i must admit i'm quite geared-up for danger: full iron armour set with the leggings having Protection (thanks to my villager), an iron sword still in it's first half of durability and my diamond pickaxe, made from some of the very first diamonds that i have. Now, it's dark and raining outside so i decided to go mining. Using a cave system close to my house, i quickly get underground. After about five minutes of exploring new paths, digging through fallen gravel and looting a dungeon that i stumbled upon, i choose to call it a day and go back. While placing block to get out of the dungeon that i fell in, i noticed a part of the cave that i've missed. It seems to be emitting light. I rushed there in excitement and there it is, a pool of lava. I poured my trusty water bucket over the pool and with a satisfying sound, the lava turned into that dark purple, blast-resistant block-Obsidian. A few minutes later, i'm back at my base after painfully mining half of the pool without Efficiency. I only took 17 blocks, for it took me almost ten seconds to mine one. I crafted an enchanting table and get my sword a Knockback I. "Not the best".I thought. Then, i carefully place the remaining obsidian in a 3x4x1 grid, leaving a hole inside. I made a Flint an steel and lit the portal up. It was a light shade of purple in the portal that caght my eye the moment i set fire in it. The particles coming from them seems to be inviting me into it. I obliged and walked in. I felt a little bit of nausea for a second or two and then, I was there, in the Nether. I walked out and to my surprise, i am in what resembles a forest but pretty much everything there was scarlet. But what took me as a surprise most is the two animals fighting near a lava lake: a humanoid, pig-faced creature that holds a crossbow and a boar-like creature that stood on four legs. Later, i found out that they were Piglin and Hoglin. In the end, the Piglin won the fight but as soon as the Hoglin is gone, it charged the crossbow and aimed at me. Sensing that danger has come, I got my sword out and charged. The sword did a lot of damage in my first hit. I landed the second hit, which sent him into the lava. While running away to avoid more Piglins, i decided to observe these creatures from afar and what i saw was fascinating: the Piglins don't always attack any Hoglins insight. This might not seems much but a good ecosystem is created from stop biting of more than you can chew, or in this case, hunting more than you need. Now, i really want to go back to my house after that great experience. However, when i came back to my portal, i saw some thing terrible-a ghast. Even worse, it has spotted me and started shooting fire balls at me. After a few balls has been shot, i rushed back to my portal but in my horror, it's unlit. Then, i attempted to light it back with the Flint and steel, but while reaching for it, i accidentally dropped it into the fire made by the ghast. I was shocked, my chance to get back was lost. What am i going to do?
