Log Horizon Spin-off story

I was lonely. But not here, not in this world where I could do anything. It was dark and rainy outside that is all I can remember the rest is sort of fuzzy. I take my last sip of water when I fell asleep. As I wake up I notice something is different. I'm woken up by a breeze. That's weird I though I was at home I said to myself look up to see this giant branch above me. Sleeping in the shade of this giant tree. I don't know where I am. I decide to get up to realize I'm wearing heavy armor and I have a sword on my back. I ask around where I am and they say why you're in the town of Akihabara adventurer. Now wait a minute, I think to myself, that name seems oddly familiar. I see others like me, dazed and confused, about whats going on. I see someone who looks like my friend Jacob's character in a game I play a lot. We notice each other and he says I look just like I did in the game. To my surprise when I looked in a mirror he was right. I was Francis the guardian. Me and Jacob decide to go investigate whats happening here. We learn that we have access to the skills we once had in the game and all of our items were here, but we couldn't log out... I had an ominous feeling creep up my spine and I knew I should've payed more attention to it. Everyone is freaking out but me and Jacob want to me the heroes of the group and to find a way out of this mess and we decide to venture into the forest. Me and Jacob were walking peacefully through the forest when we were confronted with low level monsters. We though nothing of it because we are both level 88 and only 2 levels away from max. I tried to howl to get the enemies attention but all I could muster was a small shriek. As I continued to try my howl I hear a scream. I realize that scream was none other than my friend Jacob's. He was in trouble. I came running through the forest just as the final bit of his health was being taken away. He mouthed to me to run and I took off into the forest desperately trying to find help...
