Is minecraft realistic?

Yes, and no.

Yes - Minecraft have been getting more and more realistic. for example, some people might of not known that clay came from a river. Or that you can carve lots of things with wood. Which is a great start if your gonna go camping, minecraft can teach you some things! Also. Minecraft is a game where most things are true. A reason to support this is, If you are digging down in real life, you'll probably find cobblestone deep down. And all the way down, there are diamonds, iron, coal, and gold.

No - Minecraft added a few Mobs so that just really made it less realistic. Such as, creepers, zombies, etc.. The only thing with minecraft is things are more likely to find coal, and iron. When in real life, It is very hard to find those, depending where you are. Also, the way you can add mods makes minecraft very fun. Such as the airplane mod, mo' crepes and weirdoes, etc.. Also, you can put a seed. My point is, notch made minecraft fun with all these stuff. But, it is just a game with dragons, and magic and mobs.
