The purpose of the blog you're about to browse is to record progress of a Survival Multiplayer Playthrough of Minecraft (1.17) via a Bedrock Realm hosted by yours truly, Jackburnsgrass.

To provide you with some context...

The Realm, currently Pork 'N Beans, was once known as Bacon 'N Eggs to it's founding party. A group of just 5 Minecrafters, with experience varying years to just months of game time logged, called this realm home.

The bunch mostly kept to themselves. Two friendly factions formed and between the groups, trade flowed freely. Railway stations and horse paths United the server and collaborations were set to take place!

Then... disaster struck.

The Realms system was broken, and progress was lost like items to the void.

Pork 'N Beans was founded not long after that tragic day and the grind was on. Taking place long into the night the remaining three members worked hard to rebuild in a fresh land. The following collection of photographs and stories is the result of that hard work and dedication to a game we all know and love.favorite_border


Spawn was located in the shattered hills of an Alpine coast. A spawn house was created from the minimalist materials the group was able to scrounge together. This structure would mark the beginning of every newcomers adventure, providing basic materials, warmth, and protection from mobs in a world set on hard difficulty.

Our start was not unlike any other group playthrough of the game, bit of confusion, much wandering and finally agreeing on a location to call home.

A conveniently located desert temple would provide us each with a saddle, and a bit of early game explosive warfare! Many a mile later, over deserts, through the treachery of a swamp, and across a mighty river laid the land of our home. Bare as it was, love at first sight it was not.

Nearby an underwater temple was discovered amidst a vast coral reef biome. And much to our disbelief, another was found not 1000 blocks away.

Without hesitation, our heroes began developing the area to better suite their needs. Trees were chopped, a strip mine dug, and starter houses erected.

This is where I called home for the first weeks of the realms existence. A cozy little lighthouse, once called a beacon of hope for any weary traveler lucky enough to spot its light in the sky.
