New Chapter's every day!

Chapter One - Introduction
     A long time ago, that's where it all began... Kingshield was ruled by a Exhalted King; Alexander Howard. His son Henry was not very fond of his Father, he knew eventually the Castle and the Lands that came with it would be his. Henry didn't feel he was worthy for the throne. Henry's sister; Sarah Howard was a gracious women she felt sarrow for her Brother and his ill to continue his Father's Legacy when the day came. She stayed near her Brother during the parties that their Father would put on for his subjects, due to their time of peace. One day during one of these "parties" Sarah Howard fell in love with a young soldier of the Guard. Private Lynn was his name, King Alexander didn't know about this "love" that Sarah had for Lynn. Henry later found them kissing in a nearby corridor, feared that he'd lose his Sister's love, he ran to his Father explaining what he saw. King Alexander looked at his Son and sighed. "We cannot hold onto her forever, Henry". A few months later Corporal Lynn had purposed to Sarah Howard, and King Alexander gave them his blessing. A few weeks later they had put together their wedding, and King Alexander told them he'd host their wedding at the Castle. Henry feeling betrayed didn't want to attend the wedding; A later conversation with his Father led him in attending...

"Ah, Brother you came!" Sarah said, as she hugged Henry.
"Sister, I do not see the point in this." Henry replied. Sarah backed away from Henry slowly and had a look of shock on her face.
"How come, Brother?" Sarah asked. Henry led her to some chairs away from the great party that filled the halls for the wedding.
"Sister, I love you with all my heart, but I do not trust this man. For I hath not know him." Henry told Sarah who was sitting across from him.
"Do you even trust this man?" Henry asked Sarah quietly. Sarah took a moment to herself, and looked at Henry in all his sarrow.
"I understand what this is about." Sarah replied, "I wish that it wasn't so hard for you to accept." Henry watched the ground as his Sister talked to him.
"It's hard for me to get used to change.. I believe you know that better than anyone." Henry replied.
Sarah held Henry's hand. "It's going to be okay." Sarah replied, as she stood up letting go of his hand. She started to turn away when all asudden she saw her Father standing before them.
"Father!" Sarah cried before imbracing him.
King Alexander didn't show any emotion but sadness from his facial expression.
"What's wrong?" Sarah asked. King Alexander sighed and sat down next to Henry and had Sarah sit down with them. Henry and Sarah both looked at their Father and King.
"The Tide, has returned. Bavik is under attack." King Alexander replied, the room was quiet enough that a few guests heard and started to cower.
King Alexander turns to Henry "You know what this means, don't you?". Henry was filled with doubt; but no less answered his Father's question. "I do not know Father." Henry spoke as two Guards came before the King. "Sir, my men are ready to go support the Town of Bavik." General Teon told his King as he bowed. King Alexander looked at General Teon. "Have a squad of your troops secure this city, and get citizens to their houses." King Alexander commanded. "It will be done my Lord." General Teon replied as he and his Lieutenant bowed before their King and left the ball room. The Guests were being dispursed by the Guards and Corporal Lynn attended his wifes side. "My King, what do you command of me?" Corporal Len asked. King Alexander stood up and looked at his Corporal. "You and my Daughters wedding will be held off, I'm sorry Corporal." King Alexander replied. Sarah stood up and walked off starting to cry; Corporal Lynn went after her.

King Alexander looked at his son, and smiled softly. "My son, If you wish I will let you join the Guards as a temporary Leader and help them secure the Town of Bavik." Henry stood up quickly and backed away from his Father. "BUT WHAT IF I'M KILLED!?" Henry replied loudly. King Alexander grabbed his sons hands. "I don't believe that day is today or any other for a long time my son." The King replied softly. "Henry I've fought in battle before, the Tide may be strong; They've been gone for years. I have doubts, that they have their Masters power among them." Henry looks up at his Father, and sighs. "Father, why are you wanting me to go so bad?" Henry asked. King Alexander turned away and looked out a nearby window. "If you truly will one day lead an entire Kingdom, a small stone that's turned can change everything. I want you to go my son, and learn how to lead and fight." King Alexander replied softly. "I will do it Father." Henry replied as he bowed and left his Father in the ball room. As Henry walked through the Corridors of the Great Castle he remembered old memories of being a child with his Sister roaming the halls and corridors. He reached the main room that led to the front door of the Castle. As it was opened for him by two Guards he looked into the night sky, and breathed in slowly. "I will not fail him." Henry told himself as he continued to walk down the path to the first set of Gates, acompanied by two Guards.

Chapter Two: The Distraction
Since Henry wasn't much of anything with a blade of his own, the Guards of Kingshield had to spend their time assisting him where they could; Teaching him certain techniques that Kingshield's men have used over the years to overcome their enemy in harsh situations. While the training went on, the more difficult it became for Henry to learn these certain "Fighting Paterns". Since that was the case, Henry was assigned a Soldier to follow him and protect him if need be in battle. The Soldier who was assigned too him was a strong man, his name was Sedric Folfare. A old but known protector of the High King. Sedric used to be a PeaceKeeper with the other Knights deep within the Nether with their Army "The Defiant". One night Henry wanted to prove to these men who doubted him and his Leadership skills, he broke off from the group of men marching towards the Town Of Bavik. Henry followed a gravel path that led to an opening; At the end of the opening he saw the great city Port Karin. A Town that supplied Kingshield with tons of food from their docks, that they had achieved from fishing. Kingshield wasn't known for having tons of food during it's first steps of birth. The City was built upon an old swamp, so you can image the business Port Karin achieved from Kingshield. Henry being somewhat pestimistic, he wanted to check out the city, if it wasn't for his Father sending him out to battle he never would of left the Castle. As strange as that may seem he wasn't always bright when he was first learning how to rule a Kingdom. As he entered the City the Guards at the gate recongized him and bowed before his presence. "All hail Prince Henry" The Guards at the gate said as the gate opened. Henry continued to walk into the city...

As Henry walked through the first part of the city, barter's and traders attacked him with questions asking if he was wanting to purchase their goods.
"Fine fish here!"
"Come, Come, Come wonderer! See my wares!"
"Great Swords! Great Arms!"
The voices went through Henry's head, and instantly made him feel welcomed to this lively City. Henry was coming up to a ally to his right, and noticed a guy being pinned against the wall by a darkened figure. Henry crouched down and moved to the corner of the ally's entrance.
"I told you once, the Guards knew of our dismisal.." said The Darkened Figure
"The Ender Dra- *ack* wouldn't attack them again, he's safe in the Deme- *ack* nsia *acccck* Deep Mine." replied the captie.
"Then why did they ask the Outcasts for assistance? Kingshield already sent backup to Bavik." replied The Darkened Figure, as Henry saw this occuring he tried to draw no attention to himself in case they noticed him.
"A Slaughter, that's what awaits the *ack* Guards at Bavik." The Captie replied with chokes in his voice from the Figure holding his neck with one hand. The Darkened Figure lifted up the Captie and smiled after crushing his neck.
"Ack....zzgg..puuuu..." was the only words that came from the Captie's mouth as blood traveled out of his neck. The Darkened Figure droped the Captie and wiped his hands clean from the blood.
"If the guards and the Prince are not killed upon ariving to Bavik, I'll take your kids too Francis.." The Darkened Figure told the now dead captie only to reveal, that his name was Francis.
The Darkened Figure turned around away from corpse, and walked towards a cobblestone wall near him and vanished.
Henry now shocked at what he came to terms with realised he was mean't to be killed upon ariving at Bavik and his heart sunk deep within his stomach. A sour taste came to his mouth to what the Figure had said. Henry walked over to the Corpse of Francis and knelt down before his body. Henry took his fingers and closed his eye lids gently. Henry started to sing Kingshield's mourn for death speech.

"Though, I knew you not. May your heart rest in peace. From your gracious face, to your broken feet." he continued
"Kingshield blesses all, and blesses have been recieved. We love you, as your mother loved thee.." Henry finished as a Guard noticed him and ran over. "My Prince, what has happened??" The Guard asked. Henry stood up and looked at the confused Guard. "The Tide" Henry replied.

~~~ END OF CHAPTER TWO ~~~
Chatper Three: Troubles
After a long day of walking the troops decided to make a small camp, just enough to get food and supplies to everyone that needed it. As the night dwelled on Henry looked up into the skies thinking and thinking of the news he just heard that day about the attack was only an attempt to kill him and everyone that was with him. Henry wasn't sure to tell anyone about what he's seen in case there was traitor among them. A tear came from Henry's face at the thought of death, he didn't want to die; He didn't want to fail his Father, or get himself and everyone under his now Command in more danger. At this point Henry could only feel exhausted at the now fate that was chosen for him by the Tide. Henry remembered stories his Father would tell them about the Tide. "They're ruthless" The thought went on and on within his head. Henry sat up only to find his assistant Sedric watching him.
"Yes?" Henry asked. Sedric gave no emotion or impression from his face, he walked over and kneeled down by Henry.
"I'm not one for talking, but I don't need a bottle thrown at my head to notice that something is bothering you My' Lord." Sedric replied.
"Yes, something is bothering me Sedric.." Henry replied, as he continued.
"A man by the name of Francis was murdered today in Port Karin, while I took a side track from the troop."
Sedric listened quietly and wasn't shocked at hearing that someone was murdered.
"People kill each other all the time My' Lord." Sedric replied.
Henry shook his head in disagreance..
"This was different, the man who killed the victim; from my prospective was a Tide Soldier.. He talked about the Guards knowing something secret, the Outcasts have been called for aide, and that there's a slaughter awaiting us at Bavik."
Sedric listened quietly once more, and gave an occassional hmm sound.
"My' Lord, if you feel that there's a trap at Bavik we can send scouts out before hand." Sedric replied.
Before Sedric could say another word Henry interrupted him.
"You don't get it, we've been betrayed and I fear that person is among us." Henry shouted.
"Are you possitive this 'Francis' man, isn't the one who betrayed us?" Sedric asked. Henry took a second to think but instantly threw that thought away.
"No, I believe this 'Francis' man was an informent." Henry replied.
Henry pulled out a scroll he was given by Port Karin.
"Port Karin Guards figure that the man was nothing more but a Bandit." said Henry.
"I thought Bandits never left the old City of Meloc' Del To?" Sedric said confusingly.
"Sedric, pass the word around, I believe the Bandits are working with the Tide and there might be a man among us, who isn't who they say they're." Henry commanded.
Sedcric looked puzzled for a second.
"Sir.." Sedric replied.
"If there is a traitor among us, how will I know if I inform the Bandit that we're aware of him or her?"
Henry stood up and touched Sedric on the shoulder. "Look at their eyes, if they fear. We'll know." Replied Henry.
Sedric stood up and bowed in Henry's presence and replied "Yes, My' Lord." and walked away.
~~ The Next Day ~~
As the men were starting to wake up to the bright early sun, there was a small explosion that came from one the far north tents. The explosion woke up most of the Guards instantly and they jumped to their feet. Henry who awoke from the explosion started to walk towards the tent slowly, along with five Guards behind him with arms. Henry got close enough he could lift up the flap to the tent, as he looked in a man stepped out coughing.
"Sorry, Sorry, everyone!" The man said.
As the Guards noticed it was a false alarm they put their weapons down.
"What the hell was that!?" Henry demanded. The man that came out of the tent was covered with ash all over his face, luckily for him he was wearing goggles. The man also was very short for his age it seemed. He had somewhat of a bald spot on his head and had a long beard.
"Hoo, Hoo, Hoop! My dear boy! I was testing an experiment. I'm your Physicist Officer and I also speciallize in Chemistry. *Cough* I was brewing a new type of healing resolve, but as you can see It' blew up instead. *Cough*" The man replied.
Since Henry could see that no threat was active, and that the man was safe he could finally calm down.
"Who are you Officer?" Henry asked.
"Hooo, hoo, hoop! My name is Jevcio but my friends call me *Cough* Tock." Tock Replied.
Henry shook his hand and asked if he could step in his tent to see what he's also creating, as Henry walked in there was tons of vials and gagdets as far as the eye could see within a tent, there were papers attached to the tent and letters on the floor.
"Not known for a clean inviroment are you Tock?" Henry asked.
" *Cough* I do most of my work here. *Cough* It's not often that I find *Cou* time for company, let alone time for organization!" Tock replied.
Henry seemed to smile at his attitude on things, he seemed very lively.
"Tock, may I ask you something?" asked Henry.
"Sure! My' Lord! *Cough* anything for you." Tock replied as he brushed ash off his beard.
"Is there anyway that you could tell if a man that was with us now was lying about his identity?" Henry asked quietly.
Tock stroked his beard slowly, with a small hmm.
"I haven't ever made a type of potion like that before, *cou* would take me a while to find out, all of what I need." Tock replied willingly to help.
"Great, when could you get started Tock?" Henry asked.
Tock put his broken bottle from the small explosion on the table and rubbed his gloves together, then turned to Henry.
"If you can supply me with one helping hand, we should be done by tomorrow; Next week the latest." Tock replied with a smile.
Henry was surprised that it might take one week, it only takes 4 days to get to Bavik.
"What if I supplied two helping hands? Would that speed it up." Henry asked with a choke in his voice.
Tock just stared at Henry smiling for a second then replied, "More helping hands, a Tock doesn't make. My' Lord." Tock replied.
"If it means that much too yeh, I'll try my hardest." Tock continued.
Henry smiled and shook Tock's hand, Henry walked outside of the tent and selected the most random person he could find to assist Tock. When Henry took the assistant back to Tock's tent, just like all other Guards Tock was taking it down.
"Tock, this is your new assistant." said Henry.
"My names Vene, I'll be helping you with this task." Vene said as he introduced himself further to Tock.
Tock smiled at his new assistant then looked back at Henry. "He'll do!" Tock replied.
~~~ END OF CHAPTER THREE ~~~
Chapter Four:  The Forest
Tock finished his tent folding earlier than expected with his new assistant Vene. Since the rest of the Guards were still getting their supplies taken care of, Tock decided it would be best to take Vene out into the forest to look for certain ingrediants they'd need to make the perfect 'truth' potion.

"Okay Vene!" Tock said with a smile.
"We need to find certain ingrediants for this task the Prince has assigned to us."
Vene brushed his hands together to clean off the dust from Tock's tent. Then looked up at Tock.
"What kind of ingrediants are we looking for boss?" Vene replied.
Tock gave out a small chuckle and laughed to himself for a second. "My dear boy! There's no need for calling me boss! I respect the attitide though! Hoo, hoo, hoop!" replied Tock.
"I honestly don't know the ingrediants, but that's why we have experiments to discover WHICH ingrediants we need to create it." replied Tock.

"Ah, okay Tock! Where to?" Vene replied.
Tock thought too himself for a moment. "The forest is possibly the best place to look." answered Tock.
Tock reached into his satchel and pulled out his folded tent and a few potions and put it on a nearby cart that was being pulled by horses to carry supplies. "Put anything you don't want to lose on this cart, we'll meet up with the Guards later and aquire our items." Tock instructed Vene.
Vene agree'd and laid some of his unneeded supplies on the cart. "Ready as I'll ever be Tock!" said Vene looking alive and well. Tock smiled and they departed from the main group of Guards and headed into the nearby Forest. As they walked through the Forest all sorts of plants were at their disposal. Tock went around grabing samples from certain flowers and fruits. Vene was next to Tock admiring the scenery, and then got tapped on the shoulder by Tock, trying to get his attention to help him. Vene found berries that had a weird color to them. Vene was about to pick one up till Tock smacked his hand. "Those berries are poisenous to the touch. That's why they look like that." Tock informed Vene. Vene knoded and they continued to walk through the forest. Eventually Tock and Vene noticed a gravel path. "A Path in the middle of the forest?" asked Vene while they walked on the Gravel path.

"Halt! Who passes!?" A Voice cries out.
Tock and Vene stop dead in their tracks.
"Eh, Hello?" said Tock.
"Who passes!!!" The Voice demands. Tock gives silence for a moment then replies.
"My names Jevcio, but my friends call me Tock!" yelled Tock.
"My names Vene, a Guard of Kingshield." replied Vene.
"Kingshield? huh? What business you have out here in the Forest?" replied the Voice.
Vene and Tock looked at each other then back at where the voice was coming from.
"We're looking for ingrediants." Tock replied.
"What kind of Ingrediants, Mr.Kingshield" The voice replied mockingly.
"They're for a potion we're trying to create." Tock replied.
There was a slight pause.
"We're here on direct order from Prince Henry!" Vene called out.
There was no response.. and the forest seemed more quiet than before.
All asudden a man became visible before them and had a sword drawn.
"No one comes this far without good reason, I trust you." he replied as he lowered his weapon.
Tock looked in shock "How did you do that?" Tock demanded.
The Soldier looked at Tock and tossed a gem in his direction. As Tock caught it the Solider spoke.
"You don't expect us to protect ourselfs from Bandits, we're using enchanted Gems to hide." The Soldier replied.
"Are you under attack by the Bandits?" Vene asked.
The Soldier shook his head. "Ever since the Tide returned the Bandits activity has reason extremely."

"What is out here if I'm free to ask stranger?" asked Tock.
The Soldier now turned his attention to Tock and gave a faint smirk.
"This is the Outcasts Outpost, we scavenge for food out here and supply Port Karin with it. A man comes every day for the delivery." The Soldier replied.
"Sir, Port Karin hasn't needed food. They're fully supplied by their Fish." said Vene.
"They personally asked me and my squad to set up an Outpost and scavenge for food, so that's what we're doing." The Soldier replied interruptingly.
Tock clapped his hands and rubbed them together, "So, got any ingrediants out here we can 'scavenge' from ya?" said Tock trying to be funny.
The Soldier chuckled faintly. "Sure, we might have something you could use." He replied as he led them in the direction the path was following. After ten minutes of walked they climed a hill the path followed, when they reached the top they saw an amazing Fortress. "That's the Outpost of Nergh, protected by the Outcasts of course!" The Soldier informed. Tock was amazed at this Fortress. The Soldier was admiring the Outpost just when an explosion happened and the South wall of the Outpost was destroyed. The Soldier grabbed his weapon and ran towards the Fortress, Tock and Vene ran to the Outpost following the Soldier.

As they got closer to the Outpost there were more explosions and at this point they could hear screams of terror. The main gate opened and civilians ran away from the Outpost, followed by four Tide Soldiers.

"Desthi' Kou MIK!" screamed a Tide Soldier as he lunged at the Soldier running towards the Outpost. The Outcast Soldier ducked, missing the blade of his enemy, he moved back up and slammed his enemy in the face with his foot. The Tide Soldier got knocked back a little, and ran towards the Outcast Soldier again. He threw his sword as the Outcast Soldier, who once again ducked. The Outcast Soldier yanked his sword upward cutting his enemy in the neck. As the Tide Soldier collapsed, the sword he threw was still airborne and it hit Vene right in the gut. Tock stopped dead in his tracks. "VENE!!!!!!" Tock yelled. The Outcast Soldier turned around to see what had happened. He was about to run over and help Tock with his friend, but he was struck in the back by a spear from another Tide Soldier. The Tide Soldier lifted his spear higher in the air as the Outcast Soldier hung from it. "ACHKK!! YOU FILTH!!!" The Outcast Soldier screamed as his eyes closed. The Tide Soldier threw his body asside and turned his attention to Tock and Vene, the Tide Soldier started to walk towards Tock and Vene.

"Please Vene, stay awake! I'll get you to the Guards. I'll carry you!" Tock yelled nervously.
"No... go Tock.. Remember m...." replied Vene as he spoke his last words.
Tock now having scattered thoughts of revenge and dismisal, ran for it towards the recon point. The Tide Soldier noticed Tock was running away, and stopped advancing in Tocks position.

"My Brothers, we have taken another Outpost!" said the Tide Solider.
The Tide Followers throughout the Outpost cheered as they started to burn down the buildings.

Tock was still running for all dear life, he had never been so scared in his life.

~~~ END OF CHAPTER FOUR ~~~
Chapter Five: Tock returns
     Henry and the Troops have finally reached the half way mark towards the town of Bavik. Henry took the time he had on this Journey to talk with his men, warning certain ones he felt he could trust about what awaits them. Sedric was walking next to Henry just when he heard something behind him. As Sedric turned around, many other Guards turned around to see the disturbance.
Tock came running over a hill with an arrow in his side.
"HELP! THEY'RE UNDER ATTACK!" Tock yelled.
As the Guards noticed Tock in a panic they ran towards him.
"What happened??" A voice cried out.
"Get a MEDIC!" Sedric cried out.
Henry turned around to see Tock on the ground with Guards surronding him. As Henry ran towards Tock a Medic was there trying to get the arrow out of his skin safely.
"What happened?" Sedric asked. "The Tide! They attacked an Outcast Outpost..(gasp) Vene..(gasp) is dead.." Tock cried out as the Arrow was removed from his body.
"I need some Medicine!" The Medic cried out.
"I..(gasp) have some on a cart!!.." said Tock who wasn't looking all to good.
"Which ONE!?" Asked the Medic.
"Tha-a-at! one!..(gasp)" Tock said as he pointed towards the Mahogany cart.
The Medic ran over to the cart and was about to grab the Satchel with potions in it before his arm was stopped.
"I'm sorry I cannot let you do that.." Sedric told the Medic.
The Medic gave a confused look of sarrow at Sedric. "Wha- Wha- what do you mean! He's hurt bad!" The Medic cried.
"Soldiers!" Sedric yelled out.
The Soldiers including Henry turned their attention to Sedric who was holding Tock's Satchel.
"That is not Tock." said Sedric.
As Sedric ran towards the wounded Tock with a blade, he jumped and cut his arm off. The Arm vanished as it hit the ground and the Wounded Tock turned into a Tide Informant.
"YIPE!" The Tide Informant yelled as his disquise was blown.
The men surronded the imposter and pointed their weapons at him. Henry pulled out a dagger and put it against the Informants throat.
"WHERE IS TOCK!?" Prince Henry demanded. The Tide Informant started to chuckle.
"The Bandits and the Tide are together once more.. How far do you humans think you'll get before you're all dead. Go on.. head to Bavik.. it'll be your doom." The Informant replied.
"We were called to Bavik, and it seems to me you guy's are hiding something." Henry snarled.
"Oh, really? What do you think that is?" The Tide Informant laughed.
"Men!" Henry called out.
"I do not believe that Bavik is under attack.. If what the informant stupidly told us is true.. The Outcast base has been attacked and destroyed. You all know that Bavik is still two days away. But Kingshield is not four day journey from that Outpost. We have been mislead and lied too. Since this Tide Soldier came to us trying for us to use the last of Tocks Medicine tells us that he could be hurt and might die. And this Tide scum wanted to trick us instead. I ask that you men get on the Horses that master the carts and leave them, travel to Port Karin as fast as you can and spread the word. Kingshield is their target! And they plan to strike." Henry finished.
"Sedric since the men are rushing to aide Kingshield, me and you will personally go find Tock and Vene." Henry commanded.
Sedric looked at the Informant who had a big smile on his face, Sedric was known to hate the Tide. He lifted up his sword and slashed the neck of the Informant. As his body fell and hit the ground Sedric turned his attention to Henry and knodded in appliance.
As they left the corpse and the Carts behind, Henry and Sedric started to follow the path backwards to find the Forest that Tock and Vene entered.
~~~ 20 minutes later ~~~

Once they reached the Forest that Tock and Vene entered they were out of breath and had to take a moments rest. As Henry looked at the sky, the clouds had a redish flare too them. Henry hoped Tock was alright. The tree's of the Forest grew everhigh and the birds didn't chirp in these forests. The grass moved slowly with the gasts of wind that traveled the path they led. Sedric had his hand on his blade ready to strike at moments notice. Leaves dwelled in the air as they approached some valubles in the grass that were covered slightly with mud. As Prince Henry kneeled down to see what it was, they were ingrediants from collected plants within the area.

"They must of dropped the ingrediants when the disturbance occured." said Prince Henry.
Sedric kneeled down next to Henry and picked up a flower that Tock had gathered, and put it in his satchel.
"What's that for Sedric..?" Prince Henry asked.
"In case there's a body My' Lord." Sedric replied.
They both got up off the ground and continued to walk through the forest where they hit a Gravel path. They started to pick up their speed now finding a direct path to follow. As they came over a hill they found the remains of the Outcast Outpost.
Sedric fell to his knee's and he burried his face with his palm. Prince Henry couldn't believe the sight of the entire Outpost destroyed. Henry looked down and noticed a body. "No...NO!!...." Prince Henry began as he started to cry. Sedric got up and walked over slowly to the body. "Vene.." said Sedric. Sedric kneeled down and noticed a sword's hilt sticking out of his gut. He used two fingers and closed his eye lids. "I'm sorry.." Sedric told Vene.
"It was all my fault! I was too anxious!! I led them to their doom!" Prince Henry yelled as tears filled his face.
"Don't do that My' Lord!" Sedric yelled towards Prince Henry.
"Then what? Sedric!?! I sent them out here to find the traitor.. and in the end, a traitor didn't exist.. The Tide tricked me.." Prince Henry replied.
Sedric walked over to Henry and put his arm on his Shoulder.
"my..m- king!!!" a voice cried out.
Henry looked up from the ground and bolted his vision around to see who it was.
"myy..king!..." the voice cried out again.
"THERE!' Sedric yelled as they noticed a man bleeding badly from his chest.
Prince Henry and Sedric dashed over to his side.
"We can help you, I have some Potions that will save you Soldier!" said Sedric.
"No.." the man replied. "This burden is me and me alone."
Sedric put the satchel down and pinched his nose with his hand. He got up and walked off over to Vene.
"Soldier, what is your name?" Prince Henry asked.
"My King! my name is... David." David replied.
"David, I do not wish for you to die this way. My Father and I were fooled by the Tide." Prince Henry replied.
David put his hand on his chest.
"My king.. I....." David said as the air left his body.

Prince Henry put his head down and closed his eyes for a moment. When he looked back up there was a paper in his hand.
Henry picked it up and unfolded the piece of paper.

"     Dear David E. Howard,

     I love you. I love you very much David. You had such promise, and your men had great meaning for what they stood for. I only wish I could of lived to see the day you grew into the Leader of the Outcasts, and bringer of prosperity across the entire land of Kingshield. Maybe one day General Teon will notice your hard work and you'll be revered again withing Kingshield's Reputation. No one blames you or your men for the mistake. The Coal Mine project was to bring more light to our great City. Instead we awoke the Ender Dragon. I believe that one day you'll return to the Demensia Deep Mine, and when you do you'll destroy the blasted Dragon that lies within.

                                                                                                David my heart carries with you.
                                                                                                            - Love Daniel E. Howard.
"

As Prince Henry finished the letter, tears began to fill his eyes. "Uncle" said Prince Henry as he hugged the now dead David E. Howard his Uncle and Brother of his own Father.

Chapter Six: Tock's Encounter
--Seven Hours Ago--

As Tock ran through the woods trying to get back to the main road to warn Prince Henry about what he just wittnessed, he bumped into someone and slammed on the ground hard. "Hey watch it!" Tock yelled nerviously. AsTock was rubbing his head he looked up at the person he had ran into Tocks heart stopped when he saw her. It was a Merchant who seemed confused at Tocks random appearance.

"Are you okay?" The Merchant asked, as Tock got up and wiped his clothes from dust. "Where are you going? It's not safe here!" Tock informed the Merchant. She giggled slightly and replied. "I'm going to the Outcast Trading Outpost." She replied. Tock made sort of a frantic expression when he heard that. "No, you can't go there. It was attacked by the Tide!" Tock replied. The Merchant took a vase she was carrying and put it on her small cart. Then she looked back at Tock with a calm face. "Well!?!" Tock said confused. "I don't know what the Tide is.." The Merchant replied as she shrugged her shoulders. "What do you mean by that!?! They're a horrible menace to Kingshield." Tock replied loudly. The Merchant gave Tock a weird look then walked over to him. "I'm serious, I have no idea who they're.. I'm not from around here." The Merchant informed Tock.

Tock looked around and then looked in the suns direction relising that they don't have much time for too much chatting, knowing the Tide are not far behind.

"Look, I'm an Officer for the Kingshield Guard. It's my responsibility to help you get out of here. Wether or not you know what the 'Tide' is; That's not going to stop them from killing you." said Tock.
"Well were do you want to go?" The Merchant replied seeming as calm as ever.
"Where do you live then?" Tock replied.
The Merchant slightly smiled and rubbed her right arm with her left.
"I live in the Nether.." The Merchant replied.
"Then we must leave, at once!" Tock replied.

The Merchant shrugged and walked over and grabbed Tock's hand while she attached her belt to her cart. As they walked she pulled it.

"I hope however we get there is close by.." Tock replied still wanting to get out of there as quick as he can.
The Merchant smiled and she pulled our an Obsidian Gem. "This is a Metemorphic Teleportation Gem." The Merchant replied.
"Each member of the Nether City use these Gems for quick travel throughout our world and yours." said The Merchant.
As they held hands she was looking at Tock's eyes. As Tock was looking at her dark blue eyes, he felt overwhelmingly calm. As they teleported away and instantly were in a different location within the Nether.

~~ Mean While ~~

"Nevuok'c" A Tide Soldier informed their group Leader.
"The Man who ran away from the Outpost teleported away with a Member of the Defiant group." The Tide Soldier told his commander.
Since the Tide destroyed the Outcast Outpost and already burnt down the buildings, they were putting up flags and getting ready to move again.
"I've gotten his biostructure.. With the help of the Master I can transform into his image, and trick the Soldiers going towards Bavik." The Tide Soldier said as he kneeled down.
The Tide Commander who killed David E. Howard knew the man of who he spoke. And shook his head 'yes' in agreement.
"We must trick them into going back to Kingshield. So our men can give them a surprise attack with our Arrows." The Tide Commander informed his servant.
"But, Commander weren't they suppose to help Bavik? So our men there could Capture Prince Henry??" The Servant asked.
"The Master says Prince Henry will travel to bavik. But he will send his men back to Kingshield." The Commander replied.
"And Sedric?" The Servant asked.
"He'll keep Prince Henry busy till we capture him, and once we do. We will desocrate every last city under the rule of Kingshield.. The Master will finally have his way." The Commander replied.

~~ Back to Tock ~~

Tock and the Merchant were in the Great City of the 'Three Knights' Tock couldn't hold in his look of being astounded to how beautiful the City was. "Follow me." The Merchant said as her and Tock walked towwards the Center of the City. As the reached the main center of the City there were three Massive statues. Tock got close enough he could read the names of the Plague's that were on the Statue's. 'Zurick - The Mage of Cosmic', 'Jeuo - Captain of The Sword', and 'Yiln - Ranger of The Defiant'.
"What's the story of these guy's?" Tock asked the Merchant.
The Merchant looked at the three Statue's, and started to tell the story.

" There were Three Brothers. Zurick, Jeuo, and Yiln.. Zurick was born first in the town of the Elders. Jeuo was born next in the town of Moc' Kel' Tor', and finally Yiln was born in the city of Bavik. For a long time the Brothers grew older and as they did they found love, love in their passion for that their best abilitie's were. Zurick the oldiest brother fell in love with Intelligance he loved the spells he created and gave to others, helping millions. Jeuo fell in love with his urges to Craft and Wield great Swords that he could create within the Forge of the City Moc' Kel' Tor', and finally Yiln loved nature and how it wrapped around his enviroment while he lived in the City of Bavik. As their passions grew their power had raised through time. By now a King had gone from town to town looking for inspiration to help defeat Rogue's and Bandits and even Qulinor. The King's name was Daniel E. Howard. A King of the past, and a leader for the future. By this time the Brother's had finally met each other. They always had heard story's from their birth mothers about one an other, but never had officially met. The Three Brothers were Knighted within Kingshield as Exhalted Knights for their abilites. A young man by the name of Prince Rose, saw this as an oppertunity for Kingshield's Exhalted Knights, and it's army and Prince Rose's army to gain forces. They later named this army as "The Alliance". To show support and courage throughout the land that prospered it.

Eventually an Elder by the name of Stern, sought to use a power he knew very little of; As it entered his body, his mind and soul were corrupted by the damned. Stern fell to darkness as he waved his hand, thus desintergrating one hundred men out of thin air. Once he did that a Secret Army was formed without anyone knowing or realizing it. Elder Stern who was now more evil than before, took advantage of the Defiant.. thus claiming his new home to the Nether. He raped and used us as his slaves. He did many things to the women of the Defiant... Prince Rose and King Daniel, sought to finally take him out. They sent the Three Exhalted Knights and The Alliance to go and destroy him within the Nether. Right before the they reached the Nether Portal, the entire Army of Prince Rose vanished, and Prince Rose was missing. The Three Knights went into the Nether alone, but wit each other. The Huge Army of The Master awaited them on the other side. As the Three Knights fought and eventually destroyed the army of The Master, Elder Stern showed up before them. He told them they would pay for what they had done. And Elder Stern stole their soul's from the Brothers as each Brother fell the sky in the Overworld grew everdarker. It remained dark for a long time, until one day it stopped.

Legends fortold that it remarked that the Brothers had finally gotten their soul's back, and that's why the Sky returned to it's natural Glory..." As the Merchant finished the Story Tock was looking at her eyes.
"You're something else, and thank-you for the Story.." Tock replied.
The Merchant giggled slightly and replied "Your Welcome".
Tock couldn't tell what was coming over him, but he was in love with this Merchant and he couldn't come to terms with himself if it was good or bad.

~~~ END OF CHAPTER SIX ~~~
Chapter Seven: New Beginnings
Tock didn't know what to feel at this point, so much stuff happening at once. Some of it made it hard for him to process. Either way the Merchant he had found on the way to the Outpost led him further within the City passed the Three Knight statues. As they came to this big structure the Merchant smiled and opened the door for Tock to enter. As Tock got inside they came to a big hallway. In the Hallway there were flags of many of the City's that were known throughout the land. Tock could see the detail in the decoration, as they came close to the Nether Flag there was an Axe, a Staff, and a Bow. Tock rememered from the Story that those were the wepons of the Three Knights. Tock could see some old Ancient language incrested into the wepons.
"It means love and tranquility." the Merchant said to Tock as she turned in his direction.
"That's what the writting means." the Merchant continued.
"Do you believe that the brothers are dead?" Tock asked.
"No, I do not believe that Elder Stern ever did kill them." the Merchant replied.
Tock looked around the room while following the hallway. When they reached the end of the hallway there was one more Flag.
"THE TIDE?!?" Tock protested.
Tock faced the Merchant and contiuned.
"Why! do you have the Tide's FLAG??" Tock asked loudly.
The Merchant looked up at the Flag that Tock was talking about, and walked up and touched it.
"This Flag marks the transformation of Elder Stern. The Evilness that happened in that Temple is much to bare,
we keep this flag to mark our huge mistake of what we did." the Merchant replied.
"Well, that's the flag that the Tide have been using!" Tock replied.
"You seem very concerned about this Tide? I still do not know who they are." the Merchant replied.
"The story you told me, were there was a secret army that was formed, that the Three Knights destroyed. But NEWS FLASH! they're still alive! The Army still exists.. They're called the Tide." Tock said upset.
"That cannot be, they were destroyed by the Three Knights. They fought for Honor!" the Merchant replied as she ran down another corridor near then crying slightly.
As Tock witnessed her run down the Corridor she came up to something that was bright at the end of the hall. He could hear her talking to it. Tock began to slowly walk down the dark Corridor the closer he got to room she was in; He could see who she was talking to. There were three men standing in front of her. It looked like they were made out of Lava.
"Yes, Lee.. They are the same Army that once were feared." one of the three men responded.
"But.. but.. How can this be? The Legend fortold that they were destroyed?" Lee complained.
"Lee I'm sorry. The Elders of the floating city already told us they weren't involved." one of the three man explained.
"Involved with what?" Tock interrupted.
The three figures looked at Tock, and Lee turned her head to see Tock.
"Involved with Elder Stern, and the Tide of course." one of three men said calmly.
