The Lore history of the thing I'm working on. This is divided in 3 sections, pretty the same thing but in 3 different perspectives.
Note: i made these images in about 15 mins, just to give you viewers a rough idea of what the land looks like. This is not the final, and things will be added/removed in the future

Neutral Perspective

Eons ago, the peaceful land of Magnus was simultaneously attacked by creatures, ogres, undead, witches and unimaginable horrors of the damned. Behind these attacks was the Starkan Empire, who seeks the typical domination or destruction of countries. With no fighting chance, the people of Magnus were forced to escape north, leaving their homes behind.

With the Starkan Empire constantly expanding, their control weakens. The horrors of the damned that were treated like slaves “rebelled”, and the empire’s response was to kill them off. Skirmishes, slaughter, guerilla warfare sparked among the land. The horrors of the damned were eventually killed off, but the empire fell into pieces, scattered and vulnerable. The scattered survivors formed clans, some created Realms. Small groups of survivors are on their own. It was a survival of the fittest. Most of them seek total domination of others, much like the now gone Starkan Empire.

After many years of violence and rivalry between Realms, an unknown faction that came from the north who call themselves as “The Legion” began attacking Realms, which lead to even more bloodshed. However, with the combined strength of the Realms and the power of the recently discovered “Warp Technology” The Alliance were able to drive the invaders back.

After their hard earned victory, the land of Magnus is once again at peace. Violence between Realms no longer existed. Little did the Alliance know is that these past decades of peace was only the calm before the storm. The Legion WILL return.

The Realm of Mobius(Alliance) Perspective

(Note: The Realm of Mobius is considered as one of the most, if not, the strongest Realm in the Alliance)
During the fall of the Starkan empire in Magnus, many survivors formed the Realm of Mobius. Unlike any other Realms, they were able to make their own Realm float in the sky through sophisticated engineering combined with a strange form of energy. No one really understood this energy, but they were able to somehow use it for their survival.

Many years of peace in the skies, the Realm of Mobius was attacked by an unknown force. Though they were able to drive them back, the Realm suffered significantly. Many Realms on the ground fell from the same unknown force, which makes them a large threat that simply cannot be ignored.

With more Realms falling, surviving Realms formed an Alliance in attempt to drive back the unknown enemy. With old enemies fighting on the same side, the Alliance did not get along at the start, but over time, trust was built.

Even with their combined strength, the Alliance was still losing.  Paladin Aros of Mobius and the other Paladins discovered to what is now called today “Warp Energy” The very same energy that keeps the Realm of Mobius floating in the sky. The Alliance utilized this energy once again, and used it as a method of transporting troops into the battlefield. It wasn’t long until the Alliance began winning more battles. Eventually, they had the upper hand. The Alliance were able to corner the remaining Legion forces into “The Valley of Death”. The Paladins were sent to lead the final attack against the Legion.

However, this mysterious Warp technology was not understood, and such, failures often occurred. An accident occurred when the Paladins were transported to the valley. Energy spikes increased, and the Warp gates used was dysfunctional and crumbled down, leaving the Paladins stranded. It took days until reinforcements finally arrived in the Valley of Death. No signs of the Paladins or the Legion were found.

With the Legion invaders gone, peace was brought once again to Magnus. Old enemies now becoming friends, the relationship between Realms in the Alliance became stronger, to the point where war between Realms no longer existed. Many things was understood after years of studying Warp Technology. With this knowledge, the Alliance was able to utilize Warp even more and was able to develop it as a form of weapon, a common one called “Weather Control Station” A device that is able to manipulate weather for strategic purposes. Furthermore, with the help of Warp technology, the Alliance was able to set out expeditions, expand and colonize lands that were once unreachable.

After decades of peace, the Paladins and the Legion became a mere tale.

The Legion’s Perspective

Those that were lucky enough to escape the slaughter fled up north in masses. Their journey was a cruel one. The survivors roamed the wild north, a land where no other man has ever ventured into. Often they would be attacked by strange creatures, the weather is unforgiving and many fell from sickness, hunger and fatigue. Those that survive the journey were able to adapt the harsh surroundings of the wild. Soon after their very long journey, the people found and settled in a land that was suitable for living, some would even say a utopia. This land was named “Thule”

After many of years of settlement, the people who now call themselves as Thulians learned and understood more and more about their new home. Once naïve country folks, they have “evolved” and are now a large civilized community. As time passes, the Thulians never forgot those that they were forced to left behind at Magnus. The Thulians created an army called “The Legion”
Warriors that once only relied on instincts, now they rely on both of their instincts AND sophisticated technology, making them powerful warriors.
These warriors only have one goal. To set an expedition to the south, back to Magnus and liberate those that were left behind from the Starkan empire and reclaim their “ancient” home.

Returning to Magnus, The Legion found themselves in a land where the locals call “The Baston Realm”. Coming in peace at first, The Legion communicated with the locals, and much to their surprise, both sides spoke the same language, indicating to a good understanding. The Legion offered them some of their weapons and technology if they negotiate peace and cooperate with them. However, they were betrayed and many of the soldiers were murdered by their own weapons. The locals took advantage of the Legion’s “kindness”, and the Legion was forced to retaliate. Many more locals from the south poured in on the Legion, which lead to more bloodshed. Due to their “evolution”, The Legion was able to hold them off, and soon, they journeyed deeper and deeper south and reclaimed their land.

After a certain battle, the Legion began losing. Their enemies became stronger in numbers and their co-ordination became tighter. They also found out that the Starkan empire is now gone, and those that they were fighting were not Starkans, which made them realize that they no longer have to fight, and peace could be made with the locals through negotiation.

Peace attempts were made several times. However, their ambassadors were brutally murdered and such negotiations were rejected. One more attempt was made. The final attempt only lead them to their destruction. The Legion that was cornered in a valley, and was wiped out by some kind of energy weapon. No one survived the blast, but a last transmission was sent before they were completely obliterated to nothing more than dust.

When the transmission finally reached the Thulians,  members of the Legion were labeled as heroes who fell in battle. The Thulians sought revenge for the Legion. As such, their military grew and their technology were further improved. They also called themselves as the Legion. Warriors that would die honorably in battle to reclaim their land and avenge their fallen heroes.

Several decades later, The Legion returned. Now with better technology, and superior tactics than before. Peace could only be made with the locals if they are stripped of their weapons.
