Hello guys, I've been on a lot of servers recently, I have noticed that most people think that &k is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Well I today I will show you how to make prefixes look good, without the addition of giving epileptic players a seizure.

First off, one thing that you need to understand is that if every single group has a different color chat, every prefix is flashing with bright colors, the chat will look like a unicorn took a dump on your server. One thing that I know is that the last thing that you want to see when joining a server is every rank having &k everywhere you look. So to fix this I will be teaching you about the use colors, and symbols effectively in a prefix or nickname.

Up above you have most likely noticed that I put some symbols there. Those are not in Minecraft right? Well, it is fairly easy and not much work. To add them in simply go to text-symbols.com/, from there you will see symbols of all those.

Copy your favorite one, ( Control+C While highlighting it)
Now, your going to into your servers permission files (GroupManager or PEX), it will look something like this for group manager.


Now, what your going to do is go to the group in which you wish to insert the symbol into. Go into the prefix and make the prefix something like &4[&6Owner&4].
To add the symbol just paste in between the ''. What I suggest is doing something like this, &b☢&8[&4Owner&8]&b☢&6 In game this will look this:
