I've heared that your MCEdit doesn't work.
I found the latest version of it.
Here's a downloadlink.

You have to extract the file out of the .zip and launch the mcedit application.
That's it. Than you've got the latest version of MCEdit.

Hope I could help you.
A world that is created with this version you have to convert but it can load the Anvil worlds.
It's like the old just new :D
