In 1.6, using the Health Boost effect you can use commands to give yourself MEGA HEALTH! You can get hundreds of hearts using /effect (player name) 21 (number of seconds) (amplifier)
The amplifier part of this command lets you choose how many hearts you want to give the specified player.
The maximum amount is 200! 200!!!!! It makes you as strong as the Enderdragon, and using it in conjunction with the instant health effect would make you INDESTRUCTIBLE!
