“ are you sure this is a good idea?” Silo questioned Raphael as they walked swiftly through the dimly lit corridor. “Yes. Now stop whining and open the door” Raphael snapped back. They stopped at a keypad lock door, and silo put in the code.


the door opened with a low hiss (or perhaps the captive there had hissed)
silo shuddered under the stiff, cold glare of the prisoner. Raphael glared back in a way only a brave (or stupid) soul dared. “Where the hell am I” the prisoner demanded harshly. “What’s your name?” Silo asked quietly. “Mello. Answer my question.” They responded sounding annoyed. Raphael looked at Mello for a moment. “You’re either stupid or not from here, because that’s no way to talk to a royal.” He growled. Mello let out a laugh that bounced off the walls, creeping up silo’s spine. “You’re not royalty to me, therefore I will speak to you as I please.” He said after a moment of silence.

Raphael stormed out angrily as Silo followed quietly, trying to match his quick pace. “You should’ve stayed- he would’ve broken eventually!” Silo said breathlessly. Raphael’s tail flicked angrily behind him. “No, something’s weird about that one. He’s not as timid or- or ANYTHING like the others.” He hissed. Silo winced, the loud volume of the words hurting his ears. A loud bang came from behind them in the distance. “DID YOU LOCK THE DOOR?!” Raphael shouted. “I- yes? No- idk-“ silo stuttered. Raphael sighed heavily and whipped around, walking back towards the room.
