Tridents are the new melee and ranged weapons in the Minecraft 1.13 Aquatic Update.
- Drowned mobs have a 8.5% chance of dropping tridents when killed
- Drowned have a 11.5% chance of dropping tridents when killed with a looting III sword
Trident Enchantments
- Loyalty - when thrown, you trident will come back to you
- Impaling - allows players to impale and attack mobs
- Riptide - allows you to travel quickly in water
- Channeling - When a players throw a trident in a thunderstorm it creates a lightning bolt that can strike nearby players and mobs
Trident Advancements
- A throwaway joke - throw a trident at something
- Very very frightening - Strike a villager with lightning
- Sniper duel - kill a skeleton from more than 50 blocks away
