Minecraft 1.1 Features

Hello PMC this blogs is about the new features of 1.1.

New things:

Swamps blend in nicer with the other surrounding biomes.(As seen in the picture.)
Golden apples can be crafted with 8 gold nuggets and an apple.
Pine Forests have snow and ice returned to them.
Sheep eat grass and make their wool regrow if sheared.
New Spawner Eggs in creative mode.
Magma Cubes drop Magma Cream.
New languages such as some fictional ones like Pirate.*As seen in the picture's caption.*
Like swamps...color transitions are slightly smoothed against all biomes.
More bugs fixed such as the double doors bug.
Bows are now able to be enchanted.
Brewing now takes 20 seconds.
Collision box removed from ladders.(You can still climb them.)
Added world type options.(Currently they are only Normal and SuperFlat.)
Walking on crops no longer tramples them.
Leaves now have a slight chance of dropping red apples.
NPC villages now spawn treasure chests in blacksmith shops.
Added beaches.
Melons and Pumpkins can now grow on dirt instead of just farmland.
Fence Gates can now be opened and closed with redstone.
