This is just my first little bit of editing and that using GIMP as I have no other photo editor (besides paint but that shouldn't count) and I wanted to show off my skills, I hope you like it.

GIMP is free! It works a lot better as paint.net is just a load of rubbish when I use it

Yes, I learned of GIMP through a friend who uses a mac, he uses it for skinning, so yes. It does do basically everything like photoshop except isn't as greater quality.
