Sadly it has come to Pass that there will be Slimeblocks added in 1.8. To many players it is a Good thing, because they can Now hurl themselves off ravines, and get into awkward places to find rarities which they couldn't do Previously. HOWEVER, while for many of you this is a good thing, for some of us it is a gun. As a Spelunker-Dungeoneer the Introduction of a Slimeblock is rather Painful, as it makes Us Obselete. In days gone by on Servers my team mates would ask me to Go first down a ravine, and I would make the jumping path for them to Follow. Also whenever a dungeon needed tackling or Finding, a Dungeoneer would be asked to Find a safe way in without falling into it and taking damage. 

The slimeblock sadly removes our Purpose, what is left for us? Building? Redstoning? But these aren't our skills, The only thing that is left for our Kind is the search for nether forts.

Don't think bad of me, I enjoy 99% of Updates, just this one block marks the end of Two classes.
