Welcome To My First Ever Blog Post! I Will Be Teaching You How To Survive In Minecraft!
Firstly, ALWAYS After Creating A Survival World, Get Wood. To Do So Just Walk Up To Tree And Start Left Clicking It! That Will Drop You A "Log". After Obtaining 1 Log, Go Into You Inventory ( To Do So Press The "E" Key) And Go To The "Crafting" Section And In 1 Square Put A Log. After Doing So You Will Obtain 4 "Wooden Planks". You Now Can Make A "Crafting Table". To Make Crafting Table, Put 1 "Wooden Plank" In Each Of The "Crafting Squares" In Your "Inventory". Congratulations! You Have Made The First Essential Item In Minecraft! Now That You Have The "Crafting Table", You Can "Craft" Things By Simply Placing The Crafting Table, ( You Can Place Item By Selecting A Block Then Right Clicking That Block With The Block You Want To Place In-Hand) And Then Right Clicking It! This Will Open Up A Bigger "Crafting" Section. Once There You Can Now Craft EVERY Single Item In The Game! (Only The Craft-Able Ones Though) The First Thing You Will Want To Make In The "Crafting Table" Is A Pick Axe. To Make A Pickaxe, You Will Need The Following Items:
Wood
Sticks
Ore
To Make The Sticks, Just Gather Some Wood Then Go To Your "Crafting" Section And Place Two Wood On Top Of Each Other. This Will Give You 4 Sticks. Now That You Have The Sticks, Just Follow This Recipe
After Doing So You Can Now Mine Out Materials Such As Diamond, Cobble Stone, Coal, Iron, Gold, Lapis Lazuli And Much More. Here Are Some Examples Of There Ores.
To Break The Ores, Is Sometimes Requires A Certain Type Of Pickaxe. For Example, To Break "Diamond" Ore, It Requires A Iron Pickaxe. To Get "Iron" Ore, You Need A Stone Pickaxe. In The Next Update, 1.3, They Are Supposably Adding Emerald And Ruby Ore. They Haven't Yet Released If They Will Be Abled To Be Used As A Craft-Able Item, But We Do Know That Emeralds Will Be Used To Trade With NPC Villagers. Now Another Essentials Item To Minecraft Is The Sword. This Is Used To Fight Of The Monsters Of The Night Or To Just Simply Go On A Server (I Will Get To Servers Later) And "PvP" With. To Make A Sword It Requires:
Wood
Sticks
Ore
Here Is An Example Of How To Craft A Sword.
There Are Also Axes, Hoes, And Shovels. Here An Example On How TO Craft Those As Well.

These Are The Basic Item ESSENTIAL To Playing Minecraft. Now To The "Mobs". Mobs Are The Randomly Spawned Monsters Of Minecraft, Some Good, Some Evil. Here Is A List Of The Good And Helpful Ones.

These Are The Helpful Mobs Of Minecraft. They Can Drop The Following Items:
Sheep: Wool
Cow: Beef, Leather
Chicken: Chicken, Feathers
Pig: Porkchop

These Are ALL The Mobs In Minecraft! I Cant Really Make A List Of Items That The Evil Mobs Drop Because That Will Take Up Basically The WHOLE Page. But Now That You Know All The Mobs, Let Get On To The "Shelter" Subject. Its Pretty Simple To Make A House. Just Gather Any Material And Begin To Make The Classic Box House. Its Basically Just A 3 Block High Box Made Out Of Any Given Materiel Giving You Enough Protection To Last The Night! Now You Are Going To Need A Door For You House. In Order To Get One, Just Follow This Recipe!

( Please Note That You Can Make This Out of Iron Too! )
Now That You Made A Door, Just Go To Your Door Way And Place It! To Open It Just Right Click It! Now That You Have A House You Need A Place To Store Your Stuff! But Where?! Just Make A Chest! Heres The Recipe!

Now That You Made A Chest, Just Place It And Then Right Click It. After Doing So A Second Inventory Will Appear! Just Take The Items Out Of Your Inventory And Place It Into That One! Also Remember That When You Play On Multiplayer Servers People Will Want To Take Your Chests! I Suggest Just Burry Your Chest In The Floor To Prevent It From Being Found!
Alright Time For The Next Subject: SERVERS
A Server Is Just A Place For Multiple Players To Connect And To Play! In Order To Join A Server, You Need Its IP. Once You Have Its IP Just Click One "Multiplayer" Then Click "Add Server" Then Just Type Its IP On The Second Line! Heres An Example Server. IP: 216.172.96.248:25579 This Is An Actual Server For You To See! Once On A Server You Can Chat By Pressing The "T" Key. Once In The Chat You Can Either Talk Or Run A Command. To Issue A Command Just Type At The VERY Begging A "/". Once You Type A Forward Slash Its Lets The Server Know That Your Issuing A Command. Any Basic "Bukkit" Server Will Have The /help Command. Now To The Enchantment Subject
An Enchantment Is Just A Mod To Your Item. To Enchant A Item You Will Ned To Gather EXP. To Get EXP, Just Go Kill Some Mobs! Once You Gather Enough EXP Your Will Level Up. Now You Need To Craft A Enchantment Table. To Do So, Follow This Recipe.

Now just Place The Enchantment Table Down And Right Click It. Now Just Take Your Item and Place It In The One Square That You See. Then Just Select The Enchantment You Want! How Ever, Some Enchantments Do Require Higher Levels. To Get Better Enchantments On The Table, Stack Book Shelfs Around It! Heres How To Craft Them.

Now To The Last Part! OTHER WORLDS!
Yes,There Are Other Worlds In Minecraft! You Have To make Portals To Get To Them Though. Here How To Make Them.

Build Obsidian 4 Block Wide And 4 Blocks Tall Then Light The Middle On Fire With Flint And Steel!
END PORTAL
Find A Strong Hold Using Eye Of Ender Then Find The Portal With In It!
