You start a new world. You build a house. But the house is sort of... dull. What it needs is FURNITURE! This tutorial will teach you how to make simple Minecraft furniture!

Let's start!

Chair:
This is very easy. Just place a stair (or more if you want a bench), and for the arm rests, put blank signs on the side!
Easy right?

Table:
Of course, you need a table, if you have a chair! Now there are many table versions out there but i will show you my two favorite kinds! Forst of is mostly used by everyone. Just put fence on the floor, and a pressure plate on top of it. Done! Now for the second version, you need a piston and a redstone torch. Place a piston (it has to be facing up) and underneath it the torch. It will extract, and look like a nice table!

Don't forget - chairs and tables go together very well (duh....)

Fireplace:
Easy. just build any prefered shape around two blocks on the floor, that have to be netherrack. LIght the netherrack on fire and you have yourself a nice little fireplace!

Now for the kitchen!

Fridge:
For a nice little fridge, place two dispensers, one on top of the other. Next to them (preferably on the right) place two (let's say stone) blocks, one on top of another, and on them, place buttons. To finish it up, place an iron door infront of the dispensers, and you're done! If you didn't understand this, don't worry, i will post pictures of it on the end!
Or a smaller, but more compact fridge, using only two blocks instead of four: http://i.imgur.com/pwSiT.png (suggested by Jappadoodlez).

Stove:
Well of course you need a furnace, but now - a stove! Place a block on the ground (better if it's next to a furnace - it gives a better look) and on top of it a pressure plate. It's that simple! I mean the stove doesn't really work, so it's more decor but it looks nice!

Tip - Place a furnace or two, and next to it a stove. Above that leave one block space, and then put (again let's say stone) blocks over it (will be shown in the picture on the end!)

There! That's done! Now - the bathroom!

Toilet:
All houses need this! Like for the table, there are many designs for this too! I will show you the most realistic looking one. Place a cauldron, and fill it with water, and on top of it place a trapdoor. Done! Now... Don't let the lid up!

Sink:
The same as toilet, just without the trapdoor, and a block behind it. On that block place a lever, that will face the cauldron. Thanks to JoojiPooji for recomending this one!
You can also use a painting for a "mirror". See it in the bathroom picture below.

Shower:
Ahh, yes, the glorius shower... Quite simple. It has to be in the corner, for best looks! OPTIONALLY - Place a slab on the floor - and then glass panels, on the sides of the corner blocks, and water down the middle. Now, it is a bit confusing, so i will put a picture of this as well on the end!

Other ideas!!

Watercooler:
Just a block on the floor, and on it a button. On top this block put an ice block, and you have a watercooler!

Basketball hoop:
A bit tricky. Put about 2 fences next to eachother. Ant two on top of them, and two on top of them. On top on the third pair place a four by three block square. And on the bottom two blocks put iron bars... Yea... You didn't get it eh?
Don't worry! Ill post a picture!

Chandeliers:
Easy this one is! Put one fence on the ceiling, and on each side of the first fence one more fence. And on the secondary four fences, put glowstone. Done!

Comfy, colourfull couch
Want to add some color? Well then this couch is the right for you! Now for it you need slab floors, so it will look better! Now let's say you want it 3 blocks wide. Remove 3 slabs, and place any wool (or other material if you prefer, I like wool the most) so there will be half of the wool you placed looking out. Behind that do the same, but place another 3 pieces of wool on top. You now have a couch, with a back-rest-thingy, but no arm rests! easy! Now i prefer you use the same slabs you used for the floor. now place 2 slabs on each side if the seat, and 3 slabs on each side of the back-rest. If confused, just folllow the picture!

Technic stuff:

TV:
There are TONS of TV designs out there, so let me introduce you the easiest one. Put four blocks into a square and on it a painting (the painting has to cover all of them). On each side put buttons, like this:

On the sides of the room are loud speakers.

Computer:
Extremely easy. Put a block on the floor (next to a wall) and on the wall a painting that has to cover only one block. And on the block you place a pressure plate. Combine it with a chair, and it will look like this:

Also check a few cool designs;a BBQ, a street light, a piano, and one of those... beach things... (full piano and BBQ design credit goes to minecraftfurniture.net): http://i.imgur.com/NLG96.jpg

Right... The blog id probably finished, maybe ill add a few fixes until the next round, we'll see... Anyway, here are the promised pictures!
Just open the spoilers to see 'em!

And of course some other useful tips:
-Use spider web, as the net, when making a tennis court.
-Do not cramp lots of furniture in one small place.
-Dig two down and on the bottom place glowstone and over it glass for a stylish look.
-Put dirt on the floor, trapdoors on it's four sides and flowers on top for a pretty flower pot.
-Make a decor around you bed, giving it a more royal look. Something like this:http://i.imgur.com/bjWUx.png
-When placing torches outsude, put them on 1 fence for a "Tiki" look.
-Pay atteniton to little things like: http://i.imgur.com/RBxhm.png
-You can make almost everything in Minecraft -BBQ grills, fish tanks, cars, trampolines, vending machines, bars, poker/pool tables, actual pools, tons of decors, and many MANY more!
-Use wool, to make an interesting carpet!
-Don't think that the ideas i posted are all the possibilities - nope! There are alot of versions of probably everything I posted here, and other stuff I haven't! So... Well... Go make your house look awesome!!!

This took quite some work, considering Chrome crashed, the first time i was writing it, aaand it's my first blog, so HAVE MERCY! And... diamond/favourite of course!

PS: for all your furniture needs go to http://minecraftfurniture.net/

WOOT reached 50 diamonds!!! Thanks everybody! :3

Again, I would like to thank MCF (Minecraft furniture) for making an awesome website, and not being angry at me, when I copied a few ideas! Thanks guys!

AND before we finish up, here's a few tweaked ideas from CNaro:
For the chairs, you can add designs to the signs, such as @@@@@@@@@@ or ///////////////. For the fireplace, you can add some iron bars around it for a modern look. You can put food in the dispensers to feed urself! I have a better idea for the stove. Dig out a 1 block hole in your wall, then dig 1 block underneath the hole you just broke. Place netherack there and light it. Then place a glass block covering it. Finally add trapdoors to the side and a pressure plate on the top. BTW, I have never tested this. I just came up with it. If it works, can you add me on the "additional credit part". For the shower, I made a piston-powered one, but you can just use a lever, like the sink. What about a fish tank, eh? Make a water cooler, then destroy the ice block, drop fish in there, and place back the ice block. For the hoop, instead of iron bars, how 'bout cobwebs? For the tip, make it out of slabs. And here's a throne. It's on a slab floor. And for the sink, you can put 2 more levers; the left one facing left and vice versa for the right. That can be for changing temperatures.

My tutorial was simple, but for more advanced stuff, listen to this guy! His PMC page:http://www.planetminecraft.com/member/cnaro/
CreditMCF - http://minecraftfurniture.net/ - for being badass, ang giving me some ideas ! ///// CNaro - for tweaking, upgrading and making some of my ideas more advanced ! Thanks bro!
