Minecraft no update?

Well my Minecraft isn't updating to the new version so I have no trading or ender chests I think this is happening to a bunch of people I think it will be one big update for minecraft. If this happened to you please put your questions in the comments or you can help other people and put answers in the comments. We will figure it out guys we will.

Those are snapshots. When it says, 'Would you like to update now?' and there's a 'Yes' or 'Not now' option then you can update. Check out www.mojang.com/ for the snapshot info.

It is. They're gonna have books you can open and write, books you can read, emeralds, ender chests, trading with villagers, I NEEEEEED IT!

That's not an update, it's just a Snapshot!
If you want to try it out before the 1.3 update comes out you got to download it from Mojangs homepage: http://www.mojang.com
