Hello Diamond Miners I’m Diamonddozen and welcome to DiamondBlog, the blog where I talk about Minecraft and all its glory.

You probably read the title. If you didn’t you are lazy bums who need to learn how to read…or you just missed it and saw that I have a new blog. Either way this is basically a review of Minecraft Playstation 3 Edition. I just got it today so it’s going to be a first impressions type thing. I might get more in depth later.

Graphics

This is par for course. The graphics in Minecraft have always been a blocky/pixelated mess. Although this is true, I have grown to love it. I’m assuming most of you have as well. However, you know what they say about assuming. It makes (no diamond we agreed we would not do that joke). Okay so that’s it for graphics.

Controls

The controls are very easy to figure out. I’ve been playing for maybe an hour and I believe I have the controls down pat. The game gives you a tutorial world you can play on, and everything runs smoothly. Although I do have to complain a little about the sprinting. It’s a minor detail, but it’s worth noting. You have to double tap the left analog stick. This is just like on the PC, and probably the Xbox, but it doesn’t feel right. The motion just seems like you are doing something that isn’t smooth. Otherwise I am fine with everything.

Online

I haven’t actually got to play online yet, but from what I can gather there are no dedicated servers. Someone has to be on to play online. I like how you can make servers with just your friends, and it doesn’t cost you any extra than the fee for the game (still $20 like the PC). Once I get to play online a little I will probably get back to this review, but so far it has a good standing.

That’s really all I can say about this game. Minecraft is Minecraft and that’s all it ever will be. Although I do think a point worth noting is the 4J studios worked on Minecraft again. I didn’t trust them with the Xbox version, but this seems okay. Anyway, don’t forget to check out my twitter, facebook, and profile page.

You couldn't trust 4J With Xbox Edition because you hate it. I don't mind Xbox or PS I think PS is better thats why I'm upgrading to a PS4 from Xbox 360. Xbox can scratch your discs

Depends, if you are looking for the same adventure just a different style of playing, this game is for you. If you don't want new stuff that isn't on PC or Mac, or whatever you use, I wouldn't get it. Personally, I would say yes, definitely worth buying.
