Minecraft Servers going Downhill.

Hi My name is Libbis, This is my First Blog, Hopefully you like it and agree with it. But if you don't thats your opinion so hopefully you do read this all.

Now, I've never tired of seeing servers. Because it Show thats that people are really trying to make a name for themselves on PMC. But the amount of servers on all the server lists wether it be PMC or the MC server lists. I find it boring and i'm not the only one that does find it boring or annoying looking through the server lists. Seeing Faction,Hub,Prison etc.

Now I thought to myself. Since i've had the game for a While that from when i started. To now.. I have had the game for a long time now, I've reminded myself that making a server can be fun. But you also want your players to have fun. I used to find servers that were.. "Diffrent" The reason for that is because there was no reason to copy anyone else. There was no faction plugins, no hub servers and there were no prison servers...

Every server back then wether it was a Private server. Or a Public server, All the servers were diffrent. Like Back in the Day, On my First MC server. The server was for people that were new, or old. to MC, I was a noob at the time. So i got into a minecart due to the players willing to help me and i ended up living next to person that was a Pro to it. And he taught me everything from back then. Also back in the start of MC servers. There was next to no Griefs,Trollers or people that would try just to annoy you. People were Ultra nice, Helped each other to the best of there abillity. People still do this today. But Not as many still can.

I think Most people find it boring seeing just every time they find a server it ends up being a server that everyone has done before. There are some people that have made Amazing Servers... And they were diffrent. But then People started copying them. They kept on getting players because they were the Orignal Server of that Type. "Wynncraft and A'therys Ascended" Are Prime example of that. But there are servers today that have been copied so many times. People just go for the bigger one. Such as Hub servers..


I think what im trying to say, is that people will lose intreset in the game if the same servers are going to be made for the next 5 years. Factions is a prime example. 9/10 I will find a Faction server. I haven't found to many diffrent types of servers for a While. I hope that people will go back to the old days.. Where everyone had a Idea of there own. Like a NO PVP server with people on islands or something. In the case which they might have to rebuild a civilisation or something. But Due to the demand of Factions,Hub and Jails. I doub't that we will ever see any of those for quite some time.

So Hopefully Later this year we can find better servers which aren't a Major Plugin or Server type. Hopefully we can see something diffrent.
